BUILT-UP SYSTEM, CONNECTOR THEREOF, AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME

A connector for connecting a wood substrate to a concrete layer. The connector comprising a shank adapted to engagement with a bore in the wood substrate with a length of the shank aligned with a central axis of the bore, the shank having at least an external portion made of a cement-based composition. In the built-up system, the connectors can have transversal ductile collapse characteristics providing a structural ductility of at least 50% to the built-up system with the wood substrate and concrete layer maintaining an elastic behaviour upon the transversal ductile collapse of the plurality of connectors.

PREFABRICATED MODULAR SYSTEM FOR CONSTRUCTING A SUSTAINABLE DWELLING

The present invention is based on the construction of sustainable homes, which are built from the following structural elements or components: A foundation slab, some walls built from tongue-and-groove pieces or blocks, A mezzanine roof slab and/or roof terrace, an arrangement of a recirculating system that saves drinking water with temperature control; A water-saving recirculating system arrangement in showers.

High-damping reinforced concrete (RC) lattice beam and substructure using same

An RC lattice beam is provided that can greatly dampen the transfer of vibrations in particular. As the concrete included in the RC lattice beam is polymer concrete that contains a polymer, fine-scale vibrations that may otherwise affect exposure apparatuses may be effectively dampened, while the depth of the conventional lattice beam may be kept the same. Thus, a high-damping RC lattice beam is provided that is capable of maximizing the performance of a precision exposure apparatus by reducing the defect rate and improving productivity.

This application is an accumulation of various patent pending applications showing multiple configurations for connecting metal framing components together where the metal framing members are self-locking connectors that intersect, overlap, between other securing the metal support members together. The connections between the metal framing members uses various types of notches in the support members and notches in the metal framing member to secure metal framing together by using hook fingers, hook tongue, hook receivers, ledges, and tabs to secure the crossing members together forming the self-locking connections. The metal framing components have various longitudinal ends allowing where the longitudinal ends can have the same configuration or different configurations and still be an overlapping interlocking connection.

Generally one of the best types of ceiling in terms of technical and performance in the whole world is waffles ceiling. But the necessity of implementation of false ceilings also implementation of formatting in this ceiling, increases the cost. Also control of bar is difficult and may be covered from eyes, which these are another reasons for the lack of interest for this ceiling. It is shown that moment throughout span change direction in fixed span so the best option for one way ceiling and two way ceiling are beams with I-shaped sections that generally fix the problems and disadvantages of the T-shaped section. I-shaped sections have the maximum moment, minimum weight, slip and Sound transmission.in this floor there's no need for false ceilings and formatting. In order to achieve mentioned structural shape use different blocks and mold.

The invention is a roof, floor and wall rigid foam insulating and supporting manufactured form that is placed on and between a rafter, joist, or on wall stud support members. Raised support ridges on either side of the rigid foam form are placed on the rafter, joist or stud, and has recessed sections that lie between the support ridges. Overlapping sections on the support ridges allow for uneven spaced support members. The rigid foam form has the flexural strength to hold concrete, cementous or other protective composition material applied upon the surface of the rigid foam form. Roof or floor sheathing or covering can be placed upon the ridge line and fastened into the rafter or joist. Alternatively, spacer studs, that give height adjustment and a solid placement surface, can be placed into the support ridge spacer stud slots before sheathing or covering is placed.
