FLUSH MOUNT BAFFLE FOR FINISHED CEILINGS AND WALLS
A baffle assembly for installation on a finished ceiling or wall membrane comprising an elongated base and an elongated panel mountable on the base, the base having fastening areas spaced along its length for receiving fasteners therethrough and anchored on the membrane, the panel having front and rear edges bounding a width of the panel, the panel having a hollow space at the rear edge extending along substantially the full length of the panel, the hollow space being constructed and arranged to receive the base and the base being constructed and arranged upon reception in the hollow to laterally stabilize the panel, the base and panel having interengaged parts concealed in the hollow that maintain the panel on the base.
Architectural fixture connection system
An architectural fixture assembly including a generally U-shaped first beam having a bottom side, a first side, a second side, and a first end. Interior surfaces of the first, second, and bottom sides of the first beam define an interior portion. A connector includes a plate, and a connection key extending away from the plate. The interior surfaces of the first and second sides each include a generally V-shaped alignment notch disposed generally adjacent to the first end of the beam. The connection key includes a pair of generally V-shaped sides disposed on opposite sides of the connection key, and each generally V-shaped side is configured to slidably engage one of the generally V-shaped alignment notches.
Smart dynamic acoustic ceiling panel
A dynamic acoustic system for use in connection with an indoor environment includes a plurality of elongated acoustic bars and a controller operably to each of the elongated acoustic bars. Each of the bars is operably coupled to a ceiling member of the indoor environment and includes an upper portion, a lower portion, a plurality of side surfaces extending between the upper and lower portions, an interior region at least partially defined by the upper portion, the lower portion, and the plurality of side surfaces, and at least one movable element movable between first and second positions. The controller selectively controls operation of the at least one movable element of a desired number of the plurality of elongated acoustic bars to alter an environmental characteristic of the indoor environment.
ARCHITECTURAL FIXTURE CONNECTION SYSTEM
An architectural fixture assembly includes a first beam and a second beam which are configured to be coupled together. The first beam includes a bottom side and first and second sides extending from the bottom side. The first and second sides of the first beam include notches extending upwardly from a bottom end of the first beam. The second beam includes a bottom side and first and second sides extending from the bottom side. The first and second sides of the second include notches extending downwardly from a top end of the second beam. The first and second beams may be coupled together by engagement of the notches of the first beam with the notches of the second beam.
CEILING SYSTEM
A ceiling system which includes support beams, elongated covers that at least partially cove the support beams, and baffles which attach to the support beams. The support beams may have a vertical web portion, a flange portion at a top end of the vertical web portion, and bulb portion at a bottom end of the vertical web portion. The elongated may have a cover body and a cover slot in a top surface of the cover body. The elongated covers may be mounted to the support beams so that the bulb portions of the support beams are located within the cover slots of the elongated covers. The baffles may extend between and be mounted to adjacent ones of the plurality of support beams so that the baffles extends into notches of the elongated covers and the bulb portions of the support beams are located within slots of the baffle.
Continuous rail, drop ceiling system and components
An improved drop/suspended ceiling system which provides consistent spacing between continuous, parallel support rails is described. The rails attach directly to floor joists which permits locating ceiling panels as high as possible with respect to the bottom of the joists. In other embodiments, the rails may be supported by hangers, but held in parallel by spacers hidden by the ceiling panels to avoid the use of conventional suspended ceiling cross-sectional members. In some embodiments, the rails attach within or between joists and can also be used as a remodel or new option. Panels can be used with existing steel drop ceilings in conjunction with the spacer channel to achieve a continuous, parallel look with traditional steel drop ceiling rails using the spacer. Rails and tiles can serve as a direct replacement for traditional tiles or long panels can be used from wall to wall in isles or small rooms.
Faux rafter tail
A faux rafter tail configured to be securable below a soffit. The faux rafter tail has an elongated structure which includes a middle section, and terminates in a proximal end and a distal end. The faux rafter tail may include a body portion and a top portion. The top portion may include a mounting tab at each of the proximal and distal ends, and each of the mounting tabs extends in a direction away from the middle section of the faux rafter tail with each of the mounting tabs having a lower surface and an upper surface. The faux rafter tail may optionally include an alignment nub or the mounting tab having a measurement or length indicator.
DECORATIVE CEILING BEAM
In at least one embodiment, the present invention provides a decorative ceiling beam assembly having a longitudinally extending reversible base plate, a longitudinally extending first side wall portion, a longitudinally extending second side wall portion and a longitudinally extending reversible bottom plate such that the components interfit to create a longitudinally extending, rectangularly prismatic decorative ceiling beam having a hollow cross section.
