MOUNTING HARDWARE AND MOUNTING SYSTEM FOR VERTICAL PANELS
A mounting clip and a system for mounting a vertical panel from a support member suspended from a ceiling. The mounting clip has a panel mounting section, a support member receiving portion, and a movable mounting section. The support member receiving portion extends from the panel mounting section. The movable mounting section can be rotated relative to the support member receiving portion to secure the mounting clip to the support member.
Illuminated acoustic ceiling element and illuminated acoustic ceiling system
The present disclosure relates generally to lighting elements, for example, suitable for use illuminating a ceiling. The present disclosure relates more particularly to an illuminated acoustic ceiling element including an acoustic substrate having an upper face and a lower face, an air permeable layer disposed under the lower face of the acoustic substrate and spaced from the acoustic substrate, and a light source supported by the acoustic substrate and configured to emit light through the air permeable layer.
Panel for attachment to a mounting surface of a building structure and method of making the same
A panel is configured for attachment to a mounting surface of a building structure. The panel includes a first end surface and a second end surface, spaced from each other along a longitudinal axis; a top edge surface and a bottom edge surface, spaced from each other and offset from the longitudinal axis; and an inner surface and an outer surface, opposed to each other and extending from the first end surface and the second end surface. The inner surface includes a contact portion and a contour portion. The contact portion is disposed on a reference plane. The contour portion is contoured toward the outer surface, away from the reference plane, such that the contour portion defines a channel. The channel extends along at least a portion of a length of the panel, between the first end surface and the second end surface.
Modular Suspended Ceiling and Method of Installation Same
A modular suspended ceiling assembly is provided having by multiple panels formed by spaced from each other first and second connecting walls, with first and second main brackets connected to the first connecting wall. First and second auxiliary brackets connected to the second connecting wall. A plurality of suspension members with each suspension member being connected to a hollow support structure. A guide passes through the hollow support structure. A module is formed by adjacent panels supported by the single guide passing through the support structure and accompanied by engagement of the main and auxiliary brackets.
Collapsible acoustic honeycomb ceiling installation
A collapsible acoustic honeycomb ceiling installation can be made by cutting desired material into panels. Next, a manufacturer can cut one or more notches into the panels. The manufacturer can assemble the collapsible acoustic honeycomb ceiling installation by aligning the one or more notches on the panels and slideably connecting the panels. The resultant collapsible acoustic honeycomb ceiling installation can provide a versatile decorative feature to a space while maintaining or altering the acoustics of the space as desired. Further, because the ceiling installation is collapsible, a manufacturer or installer can easily transport, install, and remove the ceiling installation.
Ceiling system and carrier component thereof
A carrier component for a ceiling system and/or a ceiling system that includes the carrier component. The carrier component may include a body portion that extends along a first longitudinal axis and a plurality of support members that extend from the body portion in a spaced apart manner. Each of the support members may extend along a second longitudinal axis. Each of the support members may include a distal end, first and second ledges located on opposite sides of the second longitudinal axis, and third and fourth ledges located on opposite sides of the second longitudinal axis, the first and second ledges being closer to the distal end of the support members than the third and fourth ledges. One or more ceiling panels may be coupled to the carrier component via engagement with the first and second ledges or the third and fourth ledges of the support members.
T-grid to baffle bar bracket
An elongate sheet metal body for attachment to the web of a grid tee, the body having a substantially right angle cross-section formed by legs that in use are vertical and horizontal, respectively, the vertical leg having a width adapted to fit against the web between a reinforcing bulb and lower flange of the tee, the horizontal leg having a width at least that of the width of a portion of the flange portion extending from the web to a free edge of the flange, the horizontal leg having at a free edge a plurality of depending lugs spaced uniformly from one another with a common center to center distance, the lugs having a horizontal width sized to fit into U-shaped baffles such that said baffles carried on said lugs have the same center to center distance as the lugs.
Suspended ceiling system, securing members, and process of installing a suspended ceiling system
Disclosed is a suspended ceiling system, a securing member, and process of installing a patterned suspended ceiling system. The suspended ceiling system includes a grid system having first members and second members, and at least one substrate which extends below the grid system. The at least one substrate has an exposed surface and a concealed surface, and the at least one substrate has first sides and second sides which extend between the exposed surface and the concealed surface. Securing members attach to the concealed surface proximate the first sides, and the securing members have grid engagement members which secure the at least one substrate to the grid system. The securing members cooperate with the first members and the second members of the grid system to properly position the substrate and the spacing between adjacent at least one substrates is controlled.
Acoustic luminaire structure
A luminaire structure, comprises a plurality of housing segments, each with at least one lighting zone, and configured to be assembled to form a support structure defining at least one panel supporting zone for supporting at least one acoustic panel removably attached thereto, wherein each of the lighting zones in the support structure is oriented to be adjacent the at least one acoustic panel, and operable to receive a lighting module to deliver light to an interior space.
