The present anti-ballistic shelter is a reinforced unit configured to comply with both ISO standards for size and weight, and with the U.S. Department of State Certification Standard for Forced Entry and Ballistic Resistance of Structural Systems. Each end and side wall of the unit is reinforced with wall studs that penetrate the unit's structural framework. Even though these wail studs are welded into place, penetration of the wall studs into the framework ensures acceptable blast, ballistic, and forced entry resistance even if the welds are flawed.

The modular anti-ballistic shelter system includes two end units and, optionally, additional middle units for a wider structure. End and middle units may also stack atop each other for multi-story structures. TWO-PIECE TRACK SYSTEM

A fire-rated receiver channel includes at least one intumescent or other fire-resistant material strip. The receiver channel can nest with a framing member, such as metal tracks, headers, header tracks, sill plates, bottom tracks, metal studs, wood studs or wall partitions, and placed at a perimeter of a wall assembly to create a fire block arrangement. In other arrangements, a track assembly includes two nested tracks, an inner track and outer track. The assembly is designed so that the outside width of the outer track is equal to or less than the outside width of the inner track to present a substantially flush external surface for attachment of exterior sheathing elements when the assembly is used in an external wall.

The present invention relates to connecting spacing members between support members using spacing members having notches that engage the side edges of the linear shape holes or round holes in the support members whether the holes have rims or ledges to secure the spacing members or crossing other support members having notches in the edges of the lips. The spacer braces can overlap each other and connect at the top, bottom or within the holes of support members. The support members have ledges and rims to eliminate vertical and horizontal movement of the spacer braces with end fingers to stop end the spacer braces.

A resilient channel for joining a board to a support such as a stud, joist or truss in building construction, has a mounting flange and a face flange joined by a web. The mounting flange has a first foot and a second foot disposed at ends of the flange, the first foot bent back toward the support to be disposed between the mounting flange and the support, the second foot bent toward the support, such that the first foot and second foot are disposed to bridge the mounting flange over the support to define a gap between at least a portion of the mounting flange and the support. The face flange has a first bend and a second bend disposed at ends of the flange, and corrugations between the first bend and the second bend.

Each openC beam comprises a vertical web member, a horizontal top flange extending perpendicularly in a first direction from the vertical web member, a horizontal bottom flange extending perpendicularly in the first direction and substantially parallel with the horizontal top flange and a upper vertical tab extending substantially perpendicularly from a distal edge of the horizontal top flange away from the horizontal bottom flange. Vertical posts are installed in one or more cutouts in the horizontal top flange of each openC beam and a planar surface of each of the vertical posts rests against the horizontal top flange for added support.
