A MASONRY REINFORCEMENT STRUCTURE COMPRISING PARALLEL ASSEMBLIES OF GROUPED METAL FILAMENTS AND A POLYMER COATING
The invention relates to a masonry reinforcement structure (100) comprising at least two assemblies (102) of grouped metal filaments, at least one positioning element (104) for positioning the assemblies (102) of grouped metal filaments in a predetermined position and a polymer coating (110) for securing the assemblies (102) of grouped metal filaments in this predetermined position. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing such masonry reinforcement structure (100) and to a roll comprising such a masonry reinforcement structure(100). The invention further relates to masonry reinforced with such masonry reinforcement structure (100) and to a method to apply such masonry reinforcement structure(100).
Reinforced Concrete Structure
Reinforced concrete is protected from corrosion without conducting an operation involving exposure of rebar. A reinforced concrete structure is provided with a storage part that is formed inside concrete of the reinforced concrete structure, and that retains an anticorrosion solution. The anticorrosion solution diffuses and permeates through the concrete from the storage part, prevents the concrete in the vicinity of rebar from drying, and passivates the rebar.
Corrosion-induced shape memory fiber, preparation method and application thereof
The present invention relates to a corrosion-induced shape memory fiber, a preparation method and application thereof. The corrosion-induced shape memory fiber is composed of a core fiber and/or a core fiber with a corrosion-resistant coating, and a corrodible coating; the core fiber and/or the core fiber with the corrosion-resistant coating are in a tensile stress state along the length of the corrosion-induced shape memory fiber; the corrodible coating is in a compressive stress state along the length of the corrosion-induced shape memory fiber; the core fiber and/or the core fiber with the corrosion-resistant coating and the corrodible coating are in a tensile-compressive equilibrium state along the length of the corrosion-induced shape memory fiber; and the corrodible coating is coated outside the core fiber and/or the core fiber with the corrosion-resistant coating.
Pre-stressed concrete structure with galvanized reinforcement
A pre-stressed concrete structure comprises a steel wire or a steel strand. The steel wire or steel strand has been pre-tensioned before curing of the concrete or grout. The steel wire or steel strand is provided with a zinc coating. The zinc coating has a weight ranging between 70 g/m.sup.2 and 950 g/m.sup.2. The steel wire or steel strand has an outer surface that is provided with indentions to provide mechanical anchorage points in the concrete structure. The steel wire or steel strand is further provided with a passivation layer in the form of a metal oxide layer.
PRE-STRESSED CONCRETE STRUCTURE WITHGALVANIZED REINFORCEMENT
A pre-stressed concrete structure comprises a steel wire or a steel strand. The steel wire or steel strand has been pre-tensioned before curing of the concrete or grout. The steel wire or steel strand is provided with a zinc coating. The zinc coating has a weight ranging between 70 g/m.sup.2 and 950 g/m.sup.2. Lightweight structural panel
A structural panel for building construction includes a series of truss members, and accompanying sinusoidal support elements in welded communication and enclosed in a planarly extended foam layer. Together, the structural panel allows for easy and efficient off-site assembly, which creates a lightweight panel with an increased weight-bearing capacity using inexpensive and versatile materials.
