A non-threaded, one-touch connection device for connecting reinforcing bars includes a pair of coupler bodies fastened together by a connector and each of the coupler bodies having a hollow portion for receiving the reinforcing bar. An inner diameter of the coupler body gradually increases from an entrance of the coupler body to an end opposite to the entrance. A lock is placed in the coupler body. The lock includes slits and wall parts partially separated by the slits. The lock further includes a breaking disc configured to break away from the lock. An elastic member is placed between the connector and the lock to apply an elastic force to move the lock toward the entrance when the reinforcing bar is fastened to the lock. The coupler body further has a checking hole to allow concrete to flow in and out.

VARIABLE ASSEMBLY PC MEMBER

A variable assembly PC member includes: a plurality of hollow PC modules, each of which has an upper flange and a lower flange spaced apart from each other, and a pair of webs connecting both ends of the upper flange and the lower flange to form a hollow therein; and connectors connecting the plurality of hollow PC modules with each other in the width direction.

In a screw-coupling structure between an internally-threaded body and an externally-threaded body, for connecting reinforcing bars: the internally-threaded body includes, on the inner diameter thereof, a parallel-tapered-integrated internal thread section formed by integrating a parallel internal thread section formed as a parallel screw thread, with a tapered internal thread section formed on one end of the parallel internal thread section so that the minor diameter thereof gradually narrows; and the externally-threaded body comprises, on the outer diameter thereof, a parallel-tapered-integrated external thread section formed by integrating a parallel external thread section formed as a parallel screw thread, with a tapered external thread section formed on one end of the parallel external thread section so that the major diameter thereof gradually narrows.

Function-Recoverable Prefabricated Seismic Shear Wall Structure
20220389708 · 2022-12-08 ·

A novel function-recoverable prefabricated seismic shear wall structure with replaceable components, which includes main structural components, connecting components and replaceable components. All components are connected by bolts or pins. The connections can provide sufficient strength to effectively connect adjacent upper and lower wall panels, or wall panel and coupling beam, together. The replaceable components are installed in the bottom region of the wall and coupling beams, which provide sufficient bearing capacity and stiffness for the building structure under service loads and dissipate seismic energy under the earthquake. The damage concentrates on the replaceable components which could be easily replaced after a strong earthquake so that the function of the building structure could be quickly restored. In addition, the replaceable components with different energy-dissipation mechanisms facilitate the shear wall structure to have multiple seismic fortification lines, and improve the seismic performance of the building structure.

Intermediate concrete anchor system with cap

A method and system for forming a post-tensioned concrete slab using a post-tensioning concrete anchor. The system may comprise a connector anchor including a bore that includes a first frustoconical portion, and the connector anchor may be adapted to bear on the post-tensioning concrete anchor. The system may also comprise a coupler comprising a connector and a coupler body that includes a second frustoconical portion that is oriented oppositely to the first frustoconical portion. The connector may have a bore therethrough and may be configured to receive the coupler body and to engage the connector anchor. A pocket-forming cap may releasably engage the post-tensioning concrete anchor; the pocket-forming cap may include a frustoconical wall, a gripping head, and a connector-receiving portion. The method may include using the system to form a second concrete section adjacent to a first concrete section before stressing the first concrete section.

REBAR COUPLER

Proposed is a rebar coupler including a housing formed by coupling a pair of housing bodies to each other and a plurality of coupling pieces positioned inside the housing and configured to fasten a rebar. The coupling piece includes an outer surface having a first protruding region, a second protruding region, and a first concaved region, and includes an inner surface having serrated protrusions configured to prevent the rebars from being moved in an opposite direction of an insertion direction. The housing body has concaved spaces such that symmetrical hollows are formed at the opposite sides of the housing, and rebar inlet ports are formed at opposite ends of the housing. A pair of the coupling pieces is positioned at the hollows such that the inner surfaces of the coupling pieces face each other, and the first end portions of the coupling pieces are configured to fasten the rebars.

Self-supported PC column joint part

A self-supported PC column joint part. A plurality of accommodation pieces is buried in the upper surface of a lower member to which a PC column is to be joined, has accommodation spaces having open upper parts, and has female threads. A support bar is provided in a pocket formed in the lower end of the PC column, and includes a body coupled to the upper surface of the pocket to protrude and a head at the lower end of the body so as to be accommodated inside the accommodation space. A fixing piece has a through-hole formed in the center thereof such that the body of the support bar passes therethrough, and has threads formed on the outer peripheral surface thereof so as to be screw-coupled to the accommodation piece, thereby fixing the head of the support bar.
