A tooling for manufacturing a wall with two concrete walls, between which at least one insulation panel is trapped includes at least one system for positioning the insulation panel composed, on one hand of a dagger having a rod provided with a bearing stop and, on the other hand, of a lock provided with a counter-stop. The lock has at least two notches for receiving a first reinforcement, arranged locally on the circumference of the positioning system, extending set back from a first end of the rod, delimited on either side by retaining stops spaced apart so as to maintain in position the first reinforcement, and defines a housing with a profile converging in the opposite direction to their opening, and arranged according to the length of the positioning system to be able to adjust the position of the first reinforcement according to the length of the positioning system.
Composite conduit formwork structure and method of fabrication
The disclosure presents a composite conduit formwork structure which includes a cylindrical outer casing adapted to bond with a cylindrical inner casing which are maintained at a fixed distance apart by a plurality of radial stanchions. The inner casing and outer casing form an interior void which is filled with concrete during manufacture. The outer casing and inner casing remain in place to protect the structure once completed. A novel method of assembly is also provided whereby radial stanchions are rotated between the outer casing and inner casing. All of the components in a preferred embodiment are formed of a fiberglass material.
Self-annealing concrete, self-annealing concrete forms, temperature monitoring system for self-annealing concrete forms and method of making and using same
The invention comprises a product. The product comprises a first removable concrete form having a concrete forming face and a first insulating panel insert having a first primary surface and an opposite second primary surface, wherein the second primary surface of the first insulating panel insert contacts the concrete forming face of the first removable concrete form. The product also comprises an elongate anchor member having an enlarged portion and an elongate portion, the elongate portion having a first end and an opposite second end, wherein the enlarged portion is disposed adjacent the first end and contacts the second primary surface of the first insulating panel insert and wherein the elongate portion extends through the first insulating panel insert and extends outwardly from the first primary surface of the first insulating panel insert. A method of using a removable insulated concrete form system is also disclosed.
REINFORCEMENT POSITIONER WITH CLIP
A system including a reinforcement positioner having a body with a longitudinally-extending spine and a plurality of legs coupled to the spine along a length thereof and at least partially extending away from the spine. The positioner further includes an opening or recess positioned in the body, and a clip configured to be received and retained in the opening or recess.
Intermediate concrete anchor system with cap
A method and system for forming a post-tensioned concrete slab using a post-tensioning concrete anchor. The system may comprise a connector anchor including a bore that includes a first frustoconical portion, and the connector anchor may be adapted to bear on the post-tensioning concrete anchor. The system may also comprise a coupler comprising a connector and a coupler body that includes a second frustoconical portion that is oriented oppositely to the first frustoconical portion. The connector may have a bore therethrough and may be configured to receive the coupler body and to engage the connector anchor. A pocket-forming cap may releasably engage the post-tensioning concrete anchor; the pocket-forming cap may include a frustoconical wall, a gripping head, and a connector-receiving portion. The method may include using the system to form a second concrete section adjacent to a first concrete section before stressing the first concrete section.
Stackable rebar chair
A stackable rebar chair includes a one-piece body of molded plastic that includes four vertical support legs and four vertical leg receiving sockets. The one-piece body also includes first and second concave rebar cradles that are oriented perpendicular to each other. Each of the support legs has a cross section that defines a first polygon, and each of the leg receiving sockets defines a partial second polygon that is both larger, and differently shaped, that the first polygon. When the rebar chairs are stacked, the four supporting legs of the upper chair are received in the leg receiving sockets of the lower chair in such a manner that a plurality of vertices of the first polygon are positioned, shaped and oriented to simultaneously match respective vertices of the partial second polygon.
Rebar placement apparatuses and methods
An apparatus for holding rebar rods and method for laying the same, the apparatus including an elongated member; a plurality of clasps equally spaced apart from each other and disposed on the elongated member; wherein each of the plurality of clasps is adapted to receive and hold a section of a rebar rod.
