HIP VENT
A vent is disclosed that is particularly suited to use in ventilating attic spaces beneath a hip roof. The vent is configured to be installed along a hip of the roof overlying and covering a ventilation slot formed through the roof deck along the hip. The vent includes an elongated laterally flexible top panel from which baffle arrays depend. The baffle arrays are formed of a plurality of depending arcuately curved vanes that arc away from the vent. The vanes are aerodynamically shaped to redirect wind-blown rain and snow away from the vent and are configured to block the migration of rain and snow through the vent. A pair of spongy conformable filler strips is attached beneath the edge portions of the vent. The filler strips conform to the shapes of underlying shingles when the vent is installed to fill any gaps that otherwise might be formed between the vent and the shingles. A weather filter drapes over some of the baffle arrays to allow attic air to pass but prevent ingress of blown snowflakes and raindrops.
Ridge vent
A ridge vent comprising: (a) a first filter clothe layer extending along a predetermined width and a predetermined length; (b) a first entangled net layer extending along the predetermined width and the predetermined length; and, (c) a second entangled net layer operatively coupled to the first entangled net layer, the second entangled net layer extending along the predetermined length and a first portion and a second portion of the predetermined width so as to provide an air void in a widthwise direction within the second entangled net layer that extends along the predetermined length.
Ventilation system for tile roofs
A ridge vent for tile roofs is provided having a vent strip located on each side of a roof ridge. The ridge vent includes a center water dam having a centering portion and two leg portions, with the centering portion being located over a ridge board. The vent strips includes a vent material, formed from a non-woven mat, including a first surface, which matches a surface of the tile roof, and a second surface. An upper water barrier is attached to the second surface of at least one of the vent strips and extends over the roof ridge. The ridge vent is rollable and can be provided as one piece or as separate components.

ROOF COVERING AND METHOD OF APPLYING THE SAME
A roofing system includes a first group of hook fasteners, a second group of hook fasteners, and a roof covering. The first group of hook fasteners is configured to be attached to a first sloped plane of a roof, and the second group of hook fasteners is configured to be attached to a second sloped plane of the roof. The roof covering has a bottom surface, and the bottom surface of the roof covering includes a plurality of loop fasteners that are configured to engage with at least one of the first group of hook fasteners or the second group of hook fasteners. When the plurality of loop fasteners are engaged with the first group of hook fasteners, the roof covering is resisted from moving in a first direction and not resisted from moving in a second direction that is opposite the first direction. When the plurality of loop fasteners are engaged with the second group of hook fasteners, the roof covering is resisted from moving in the second direction and not resisted from moving in the first direction.
EXTRUDED MAT
A drainage component having a continuous, extruded mat having an upper face and a lower face. The mat includes a plurality of patterned three-dimensional structures, each structure spaced from all adjacent structures, and the plurality of patterned three-dimensional structures are provided in a plurality of linear rows or columns in a first direction.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR STORING AND DEPLOYING SHEETS OF FLEXIBLE MATERIAL
A sheet of flexible material can be deployed or stored by unfurling or furling the sheet using one or more inflatables. After the sheet is deployed to, for example, cover a load on a flatbed trailer, the inflatable can be deflated for storage. A sheet that has been removed from the load can be stored by placing an inflatable along an edge of the sheet. The inflatable is pressurized, and the sheet is furled onto the inflatable by rolling the inflatable. The inflatable is deflated and rolled up with the sheet for storage.
Ridge vent
A roof vent is made from convoluted filaments. The roof vent includes a center section, a first end section, and a second end section, all made from convoluted filaments. The first and second end sections each include a top layer made from convoluted filaments and a bottom layer made from convoluted filaments. The thickness of the first end section may be substantially the same as a thickness of the center section. A filter may cover the top of the center section, the tops, ends, sides, and bottoms of the first and second end sections, and a portion of a bottom of the center section, leaving a middle portion of the bottom of the center section uncovered by the filter.
Adhesive Assembled Ridge Vent
A venting device of a structure is provided that includes first and second panel sections. The first panel section includes a top panel portion and a base panel portion located opposite the top panel portion. The second panel section includes a top panel portion and a base panel portion located opposite the top panel portion. A bottom surface of the base panel portion of the first panel section faces a top surface of the top panel portion of the second panel section. A polyurethane reactive (PUR) adhesive is located between the bottom surface of the base panel portion of the first panel section and the top surface of the top panel portion of the second panel section which holds the bottom surface of the base panel portion of the first panel section and the top surface of the top panel portion of the second panel section together.
