The system further comprises a set of electrical fans (25), each fan (25) being arranged in the lower region of the roof and being aligned with one of the joists (12, 112), wherein each fan (25) is configured to create a flow of air towards the ridge (14), and wherein each joist (12, 112), in an end facing one of the fans (25), is formed with a dividing edge (32, 132) configured to divide the flow of air into two sub-flows (26a, 26b), a first sub-flow (26a), directed to a first side of the joist (12, 112), and a second sub-flow (26b) directed to a second side of the joist (12, 112), opposite to the first side.
Steep slope roofing panel system and method
A steep slope roofing panel system includes an underlayment and a plurality of roofing panels installed atop the underlayment. The panels may be installed to provide both protection from the environment and watershedding. Alternatively, the panels and the underlayment may share the watershedding functions of the roof, with one as a primary watershedding component and the other as an auxiliary watershedding component. The roofing system may be custom manufactured off-site based upon predetermined measurements and characteristics of a roof and its protrusions. Alternatively, the roofing system may be custom manufactured at the job site based upon such measurements and characteristics. Each panel may be assigned to a location on the roof and may include imprinted instructions regarding cutting and/or bending the panel to form flashing, drip edges, or other features, as well as the panel's location and installation sequence on the roof.

Roof integrated photovoltaic system
A roof integrated photovoltaic system includes a starter bar having a foot base and configured to be installed to a roof deck, a plurality of water shedding layers, and a photovoltaic module. One of the plurality of water shedding layers is configured to be installed over the foot base of the starter bar, and one of another of which is configured to overlap and be installed over the one of the plurality of water shedding layers. The system further includes a foot module configured to be attached to an upper portion of the photovoltaic module. A lower portion of the photovoltaic module is configured to align with the foot base of the starter bar, and the foot module is configured to be affixed on a last overlapping layer of the plurality of water shedding layers to the roof deck.
Roofing system
A roofing system that is configured to be superposed upon an existing roof and further be mechanically coupled to the purlins of the structure on which the roofing system is being installed. The present invention includes a plurality of support spacing members wherein the support spacing members are axially aligned with purlins of the structure and mechanically secured thereto. The support spacing members include a center portion that is elevated with respect to the existing roof. A plurality of roof panel members are provided wherein the roof panel members further include longitudinal edge formations. The longitudinal edge formations of the roof panel are configured to couple with longitudinal clip members in order to operably couple adjacent roof panel members during installation of the roofing system of the present invention. The longitudinal clip members are mateably shaped to facilitate coupling with the roof panel members.
ROOF OR WALL HOLE CLOSING DEVICE
or Wall Hole Closing Device A roof or wall hole closing device 1 comprises an expanding part 3 which, in its contracted condition, is passed through the hole from one side. The expanded part 3, when expanded, closes the hole from one side. A rod 5 passes into the expanding part 3. The expanding part 3 is expanded by the user pulling the rod 5 through the hole. A lower seal engages against a second side of the hole to prevent movement of the expanding part 3 from its closing position. The device when used in a roof can be installed from below, which avoids the dangers of the user needing to go up onto the roof.
