Deformable finishing accessory suitable for forming a connection between two surfaces
A finishing accessory (1A) includes a deformable finishing profile (10) and at least one blocking part (P2A). The finishing profile (10) is suitable for making up a finishing transition between two surfaces (S1; S2), and includes two rigid wings (100; 101) that extend lengthwise parallel to a longitudinal axis (A), which are spaced from one another and which are intended to be in contact respectively with the two surfaces (S1; S2) to be connected, and a flexible hinge (102) that extends lengthwise parallel to said longitudinal axis (A), which is, at least in part, positioned between the two wings (100; 101), and which connects the two wings to one another while allowing a rotation of the two wings (100; 101) relative to one another in a plane (X, Y) perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (A). Said blocking part (P2A) includes an adjusting shim (20a), which extends lengthwise and which, once inserted into a longitudinal groove (103) of the finishing profile, is adapted to block the two wings (100; 101).
Tread cap and related methods of use and manufacture
A capping apparatus for covering a pre-existing stair structure can include: a tread element; and a trim piece attached to the tread element proximate a longitudinal edge of the tread element. The trim piece includes a back surface defining: a first recess for receiving a thick sub-tread for a first type of pre-existing stair structure; and a second recess for receiving a thin sub-tread for a second type of pre-existing stair structure. Methods of manufacturing and installing the capping apparatus are described.
Luxury Vinyl Plank Stair Noses and Other Moldings
A molding is made from a first flooring plank. A first groove is formed into the first flooring plank with a first flat bottom surface. A second groove is formed into the first flooring plank with a second flat bottom surface. The first flooring plank is folded at the first groove and second groove. A second flooring plank is disposed adjacent to the molding. A color and pattern of the first flooring plank and second flooring plank match.

Method for bending a vinyl floor plank to form a stair nose plank
A method for bending a vinyl floor plank to form a stair nose plank. A first bending gap is established between two blending blocks and a second bend gap is established between two second bending blocks. Heat is applied to a vinyl floor plank along a first bend location. The vinyl floor plank is then placed into the first bend gap. A user presses downward on the vinyl floor plank to form a first right angle bend. Heat is applied to a vinyl floor plank along a second bend location. The vinyl floor plank is then placed into the second bend gap. The user presses downward on the vinyl floor plank to form a second right angle bend. The first right angle bend and the second right angle bend combine to form a U-shaped bend to form a stair nose plank. In a preferred embodiment the stair nose plank includes a locking mechanism along its edges. In a preferred embodiment heat is applied by utilization of an acrylic bending machine.
Stair tread cover
A stair tread cover suitable for covering at least one step in a staircase. The stair tread cover includes at least a front portion and a back portion. The front and back portion each have a top surface and a bottom surface. At least one friction region is optionally positioned on the bottom surface of the front portion of the stair tread cover, and at least one gripping region is optionally positioned on the top surface of the front portion of the stair tread cover.
Floor panel for outdoors
The present invention relates to floor panels for outdoor use, which front side is provided with a decorative—respectively protective layer and which comprises at its sides coupling means inform of groove and tongue elements. The material of the carrier plate is thereby MDF or HDF board of acetylated wood, a fiber cement board or is based on polyvinylchloride and the decorative—respectively protective layer consisting of a radiation cured acrylate-containing film or a polymeric layer with hardness gradient, wherein the hardness of the polymeric layer decreases in particular continuously with increasing depth seen from the surface of the polymeric layer.
METHOD FOR BENDING A VINYL FLOOR PLANK TO FORM A STAIR NOSE PLANK
A method for bending a vinyl floor plank to form a stair nose plank. A first bending gap and a second bending gap are established. Heat is applied to a vinyl floor plank along a first bend location. The vinyl floor plank is then placed into the first bend gap. A user presses downward on the vinyl floor plank to form a first right angle bend. In a preferred embodiment, the first bending gap is established between two blending blocks and the second bend gap is established between two second bending blocks. In a preferred embodiment heat is applied by utilization of an acrylic bending machine.
Stair tread overlay
A stair tread overlay for installation on the stair steps of an existing stairway construction. The overlay includes a stair tread member having a top planar tread surface, a bottom surface for positioning on top of an existing stair step, and a front edge extending along the stair tread member and forming a nosing for receiving the weight of a user. A face strip member extends along the front of the stair tread member and projects downwardly from the bottom surface thereof. The face strip member is positioned beneath the nosing of the stair tread member and, thereby, is protected thereby. The stair tread member is fabricated of a more dense material for withstanding wear and tear on the overlay, and the face strip member is fabricated of a less dense material for facilitating shaping or machining of the face strip member.
