BALCONY SYSTEM AND METHOD

Systems and methods for balconies and false balconies are described.

Barrier infill system

A barrier framework is formed from vertical posts and horizontal rails. Infill sections cover major openings in the barrier framework. Elongate junction elements overlay each rail and join adjacent infill sections. Edges of the infill sections fit within channels formed in the junction elements. Each junction element has an H-shaped cross-sectional profile, with the arms on one side shorter than those on the other. A cover element encloses the shorter arms of each junction element and clamps infill material against the longer arms.

FASTENER ASSEMBLY, MESH PANEL AND BARRIER SYSTEM
20190284815 · 2019-09-19 ·

A fastener assembly for mounting a panel to a framework includes an elongate flexible tie having a proximal end and an opposing distal end and a clamping block. The clamping block has a tie-receiving channel extending between an inner and an opposing outer side, and a gripper in or adjacent the tie-receiving channel for gripping the tie. The proximal end is fixable to the clamping block and, in use, the inner side of the clamping block abuts the panel and the gripper grips the tie such that tension in the tie presses the inner side of the clamping block against the panel. A mesh panel made of polymeric material and having a honeycomb shaped mesh, together with the fastener assembly, forms a barrier system for erecting a drop-protection barrier on a safety railing, scaffolding, or like framework.

Infill adaptor for a balustrade

An infill adaptor for mounting a screen between upper and lower rails of a balustrade. The upper and lower rails have respective channels which open toward each other. The infill adaptor has a generally L-shaped body with a rail engaging leg extending generally perpendicular to a sash engaging leg. A respective rail engaging leg is mounted in each of the channels for securing an infill adaptor to each rail. The sash engaging leg is secured to the sash of a screen for mounting a screen to the rails.

Adjustable safety panel connector

An adjustable panel connector (100, 300) for interconnecting two mesh panels (105) of a barricade and/or guarding system. The adjustable panel connector (100, 300) comprises a first body element (102, 302) including at least one first panel fastening arrangement (106, 108, 311); a second body element (104, 304) including at least one second panel fastening arrangement (106, 108, 311), the first body element (102, 302) and the second body element (104, 304) being interconnected along and about a connection axis (X-X, Y-Y); and a pivot locking arrangement (110, 301) configured to lock the first body element (102, 302) at a selected angle relative to the second body element (104, 304) about the connection axis (X-X, Y-Y).

BRACKET, RAILING SYSTEM INCLUDING THE SAME, AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING A RAILING SYSTEM
20260085524 · 2026-03-26 · ·

A bracket, railing system including the same, and a method of assembling a railing system. The railing system may include first and second structural posts, a top rail, a bottom rail, an infill panel, and a first bracket. The first and second structural posts are spaced from one another. The top and bottom rails extend from the first structural post to the second structural post. The infill panel extends from the first structural post to the second structural post and from the top rail to the bottom rail. The first bracket receives the infill panel and secures the top rail to the first structural post. The first bracket has a first receiving channel configured to receive the infill panel, a second receiving channel configured to receive the infill panel, and a bridge separating the first and second receiving channels.
