WALL PANEL CLIP
The disclosure relates generally to methods, systems, and apparatus for assembling prefabricated wall panels, such as prefabricated wall panels constructed with a layer of insulation coupled to a pre-formed metal layer, with a wall panel fastening system. An insulated wall panel system, includes a first wall panel having an extended portion, a second wall panel having a recessed portion configured to receive the extended portion of the first wall panel. The wall panel system also includes a wall panel clip disposed between the first wall extended portion and the second wall panel recessed portion, the wall panel clip including a first web member and a second web member extending at an angle from the first web member, the first web member having a first end portion, a second end portion and a middle portion disposed between the first and second end portions, the second web member having a first end portion, a second end portion and a middle portion disposed between the first and second end portions. The wall panel system further includes that the first web member middle portion includes a through hole extending therethrough and the first and second end portion of the second web member each including a through-hole extending therethrough. The wall panel system further includes an internal fastener configured to connect at least one of first end portion or the second end portion to a portion of the second wall panel and the second wall panel to a building support structure. The wall panel system also includes a face fastener extending through the first wall panel and into the wall panel clip to secure the first wall panel to the second wall panel.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR RETROFITTING AN EXISTING BUILDING
Example embodiments of the described technology provide a building wrap useful for retrofitting a building. The building wrap may comprise a plurality of different types of pre-fabricated panels such as roof panels, wall panels and foundation panels. Wall panels may be coupled to mounting rails which are attached to an exterior wall of the building. The foundation panels may carry the weight of the wall panels. At least some portions of some of the foundation panels may be below a grade level of the building.
JOINER CLIP
A joiner clip for securing panels to a substrate is provided that includes a sheet of material that has a first portion, a second portion, a first face, and a second face. On the first face, a first anchoring cleat is located in the first portion and a second anchoring cleat is located in the second portion. A spaced guide is positioned between the first portion and the second portion of the sheet on the first face. A mounting hole is formed through the sheet and is positioned colinear with the spacer guide. A fastener from the second face secures the joiner clip and panels to a vertical stud substrate. A construction unit including the joiner clip for securing panels of material to a vertical stud substrate is also provided. A butt joint is readily formed between two secured panels.

Connecting structure and covering device for opening of building
A connecting structure, which is located between a first object and a second object, includes a first engaging member and a second engaging member located between the first engaging member and the first object. The first engaging member is located between the second engaging member and the second object. The second engaging member has a thickness. When a distance between the first engaging member and the first object is less than or equal to said thickness, the first engaging member and the second engaging member are not movable relative to each other. When said distance is greater than said thickness, the first engaging member and the second engaging member can be moved in a direction relative to each other, moving the first object and the second object relative to each other as well. A covering device for an opening of a building is also disclosed, which includes said connecting structure.
Louvered enclosure system
A louvered enclosure system is provided that is capable of selectively fully or partially covering a designated area to block direct sunlight, rain, snow, etc. while allowing a selected amount of airflow to the designated area. The louvered enclosure system includes a pair of longitudinally extending rails having a plurality of movable louver assemblies extending between the rails. The movable louver assemblies are rotatable relative to the rails and longitudinally movable along the rails. A drive assembly rotates and moves the louver assemblies relative to the rails. The drive assembly includes separate rotation and drive mechanisms for selectively rotating the louver assemblies and moving the at least one movable louver assembly along the rails. Insulation may be provided on the louver assemblies to aid in insulating the designated space. The louver assemblies may be maintained rotated to a closed position by magnets securing each louver assembly to adjacent louver assemblies.
Louvered Roof System
