Metal ceiling panel system with retaining clips and method
09771717 · 2017-09-26 ·

A ceiling system for under-deck installation includes ceiling panels and retaining clips. Each ceiling panel has a first interlocking bracket and an oppositely spaced second interlocking bracket formed along the sides of the ceiling panel. The ceiling system is installed by installing a number of retaining clips along the length of the second interlocking bracket of a panel and then inserting the first interlocking bracket of the next panel in the second interlocking bracket of the first panel so that the retaining clips secure an edge of the first interlocking bracket of the next panel. Subsequent ceiling panels are connected in this manner to form the ceiling panel system.

Siding Panel with Improved Locking Mechanism and Method of Manufacture
20220042318 · 2022-02-10 ·

One aspect of the disclosure is a siding panel having a front face, a rear face, a top edge, a bottom edge, a first side, and a second side, the top edge being folded over to create two layers of material. The siding panel further includes a first locking mechanism disposed on the front face adjacent the top edge configured to interlock with a second locking mechanism of a second siding panel, the first locking mechanism having a generally S-shaped portion. The siding panel also includes a second locking mechanism disposed on the rear face of the siding panel having a generally U-shaped portion including a curved section, and the second locking mechanism being configured to interlock with a first locking mechanism of a third siding panel. The first locking mechanism and the second locking mechanism facilitate both locking and unlocking of the siding panel from the third siding panel.

SIDING CLIP

A siding clip may include at least one tab having a tab through hole, a base having at least one base through hole, and a side portion affixed to an edge of the at least one tab at a first side portion end and to an edge of the base at a second side portion end, thereby forming a gap between the at least one tab and the base. The tab through hole is disposed opposite to one of the at least one base through holes. The siding clip further includes at least one coupling flange having a plane parallel to a plane of the at least one tab, and having at least one insertion feature. The at least one coupling flange is disposed in a direction opposite to a direction of the at least one tab.

Method and kit for installation of siding panels

A method and kit for installing siding panels to an exterior surface of a structure. The method and kit are directed to the positioning of a mending plate between the ends of horizontally adjacent siding panels. Lines of an adhesive are applied to the mending and the mending plate is disposed approximately midway between the ends of each of the adjacent first and second siding panels. Pressure is applied to the ends of the siding panels that are disposed over the respective portions of the mending plate thereby uniformly spreading the adhesive across the back surface of the siding panel and the mending plate to enhance the chemical bond of the adhesive once fully cured.

COUPLING SYSTEM FOR MOUNTING TILES TO A BUILDING

A covering element support arrangement for attaching covering elements to a building or building component. The covering element support arrangement has a carrier means for receiving covering elements thereon. The covering element support arrangement further has an attachment means for attaching covering elements to the carrier means. The attachment means involves mechanical fastening means that can be fastened to the carrier means and that are engageable with covering elements to fix the covering elements to the carrier means. The carrier means is formed at least partially from a perforated sheet and the mechanical fastening means is engageable with the perforations. The frequency of the perforations is such that a covering element can be attached to the carrier means without requiring the covering element to be initially aligned relative to any single perforation. This thereby reduces the time required to fit covering elements.

METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND PANELS FOR CUSTOMIZED RETROFIT OF A BUILDING EXTERIOR

Methods, systems, and panels for retrofitting an existing exterior of a building. In one example, the method may include: (a) obtaining data about an exterior geometry of the existing exterior; (b) using the obtained data, defining a custom retrofit panel system for the exterior geometry; and (c) constructing the custom retrofit panel system including a plurality of panels, in which constructing a panel includes: (i) forming a panel frame by additive manufacturing, the panel frame defining interstitial spaces; (ii) at least partially filling the interstitial spaces with at least one filler; and (iii) in which the constructed panel includes a building facing surface configured to mate with the exterior geometry of the existing exterior.

The disclosed invention provides a system and method of installing wall panels unto an existing wall. The primary object of the disclosed system is to enable mounting of wall panels or windows on an erected latticework. Such latticework is deployed on exteriors of existing walls or is mounted across floor slabs. The system is comprised of a plurality of parallel upright assemblies stretching from slab of one floor to slab of the next floor. Crossmembers fastened to the parallel upright assemblies serve as mounting points for wall or window paneling.

Metal wall panel system

A rain screen metal wall panel system is disclosed herein. Specifically, the system is directed to a metal wall panel assembly that includes a plurality of metal panels with a tab and slot design that accurately aligns the panels in three axes simultaneously. This increases the speed of installation while maintaining a properly aligned finished wall surface, join distances, and reduces cost by eliminating unnecessary clips and rails. The bottom panel(s) of the metal wall panel system of at least one embodiment includes a flat or generally planar bottom edge, with an attachment zee connection to the support structure.
