One aspect of the disclosure is a siding system including a first panel having a first end and a second end, where the second end of the first panel includes a locking clip, and where the second end of the first panel forms a first portion of a channel. The siding system also includes a second panel having a first end and a second end, where the first end of the second panel includes a locking leg sized to engage the locking clip of the first panel, and where the first end of the second panel forms a second portion of the channel when the first panel and the second panel are engaged. The system also includes a batten sized to be removably engaged within the channel.

A building panel, such as a floor panel, having a core comprising at least one or more of a thermoplastic material, a thermoset material, a mineral based material or a combination thereof. The building panel further including a first arrangement, arranged on said core, having a surface layer and a sublayer, where the sublayer is arranged between the core and the surface layer.

The present disclosure relates generally to surface panels for covering a building surface. The disclosure relates more particularly to a surface panel kit and system including a set of panels for attaching to a support structure. Each of the panels includes opposing ends, and each end includes one of a group of end configurations. A first end configuration is mateable with a first portion of the group and is unmateable with a second portion of the group, and a second end configuration is mateable with a third portion of the group and is unmateable with a fourth portion of the group. The set of panels includes at least three panel types including a first panel type with the first and second end configurations, a second panel type with the first and without the second end configurations, and a third panel type with the second and without the first end configurations.

A solid surface material apparatus and process is disclosed which comprises a first solid material comprising acrylic modified polyester resin, at least one natural mineral filler, and at least one colorant and/or at least one granule configured in a sheet with at least one channel cut into the top surface of it and a second solid surface material comprising an acrylic modified polyester resin, at least one natural mineral filler, and at least one colorant and/or at least one granule which at least partially fills the at least one channel of the first solid surface material.

A moulded article is provided with a presentation side surface and a non-presentation side surface, where the presentation side surface provides for a pre-determined surface decoration, and the non-presentation side surface is an opposing face to the presentation side surface. The non-presentation side surface includes one or more structure(s), where the one or more structure(s) are arranged or positioned to provide or contribute the pre-determined surface decoration of the presentation side surface.

A wall and ceiling tile has an adhesive tape securement system for securing the tile to a wall or ceiling. The tile has a main layer formed of a plastic foam board. A front surface of the tile is provided with a design or display of a wood grain, natural stone or any other selected design. Double-sided adhesive tape strips are provided on a back surface of the tile to constitute the adhesive tape securement system. The double-sided adhesive tape strips are located alongside each of the edges of the tile. An additional adhesive strip can be provided between the two elongated opposite edges of the tile. The tile is light weight compared to known tiles of similar size, such that the adhesive tape securement system firmly secures the tile to a wall or ceiling surface.

A panel configured for attachment to a mounting surface includes a plurality of raised faces that are formed between an upper edge and a lower edge of the panel. A shoulder is defined on the raised faces adjacent the upper edge and is spaced from the mounting surface, when assembled or attached thereto, by a shoulder offset. A plurality of keyways are recessed between each of the raised faces and are spaced from the mounting surface by a bottom keyway offset adjacent to the butt edge. The bottom keyway offset is substantially aligned with the shoulder offset.

According to the method, the first side (1) is machined (I) to its final section and with the blank of the second side (2) with a protruding tab (4) which is locally heated (II) after cooling (III) to bend it and form the lock (3).
