METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING AN ELEVATOR, AND ELEVATOR
20230211981 · 2023-07-06 ·

With a view to a quick and safe construction of an elevator using structurally simple and cost-effective means, a method for constructing an elevator in particular, a freight elevator—on a construction site, and preferably in a factory hall. The elevator is built from several components arranged one atop the other. The method includes providing a base for the elevator; positioning a lifting device on the base; raising an upper component of the elevator by way of the lifting device; positioning a lower component, which is to be arranged underneath the upper component, under the raised upper component; lowering the upper component onto the lower component by way of the lifting device; and removing the lifting device from the base. Further specified is an elevator constructed according to said method.

Elevator core structure that can be pre-constructed and method for preconstructing elevator core using same

In accordance with the present invention, an elevator core structure includes an elevator frame (120) separated from a main frame (110) and extending in a longitudinal direction of the main frame (110), and a guide frame (130) formed on an inner surface of the elevator frame (120). Here, the elevator frame (120) may be formed by stacking a plurality of frame segments (121), and a guide frame unit (131) forming the guide frame (130) may be mounted to one surface of each of the frame segments (121). The present invention exhibits an effect of early-constructing the elevator frame regardless of a construction schedule of a main frame of a building.

Modular elevator shaft assembly and method for making the same

An elevator shaft assembly and a method for forming the same includes a plurality of modules, each of the modules having a plurality of walls with an upper perimeter edge and a lower perimeter edge and spaced apart elevator rails. Adjacent modules are aligned with each other along mating upper and lower perimeter portions with complementary aligning members that are joined together with a fastener, the modules when joined together forming a tubular structure.

Elevator trench drain

A trench drain includes a trench, a grating seat and a grating hingedly connected to the trench. The trench has a base wall with peripheral side walls extending upwardly therefrom and an outwardly-extending peripheral flange. The grating seat is configured to receive the grating. The peripheral side walls of the trench have a pair of opposing elongated slots formed therein and the grating has a pair of posts on opposing ends thereof. Each of the pair of posts on the grating are received in a respective one of the pair of opposing elongated slots of the trench to establish an axis of rotation.

MODULAR ELEVATOR ASSEMBLY AND RAIL

A modular elevator assembly and a guide rail. The modular elevator assembly includes: a bottom module; a top module; at least one intermediate module being configured to be removably stacked between the bottom module and the top module; and wherein each of the bottom module, the top module and the intermediate module includes a plurality of guide rails, and the cross section of the guide rail includes: a first section extending along a length direction of the guide rail; a second section extending in parallel to the first section and being attached to the first section; and a transition portion connecting between the first section and the second section and being configured to provide a cross-sectional profile that transits between the first section and the second section; and wherein the guide rail further includes a connection structure, the connection structure is configured to connect the guide rails.

ELEVATOR TRENCH DRAIN

An elevator trench drain includes a trench and a drain passageway. The trench has a base wall with peripheral side walls extending upwardly therefrom to define a trench volume therein. The drain passageway extends downwardly from the base wall of the trench and places the trench volume in fluid communication with a lower opening of the drain passageway. The drain passageway has a first section proximate the base wall defining a first cross-sectional area and a second section distal the base wall defining a second cross-sectional area. The second cross-sectional area is less than the first cross-sectional area and this reduction in cross-sectional area produces a head pressure that increases the flow out of the lower opening.

WATERPROOF ELEVATOR PIT FLOOR AND METHOD OF INSTALLING SAME

An elevator pit having a waterproof cement floor and method for installing the same. The elevator pit includes a jack casing and a drainage pit installed within the elevator pit. A trench is formed in exposed ground surface and defines a channel having a first end positioned at an area that is susceptible to water accumulation within the elevator pit and a second end terminating at the drainage pit. A perforated conduit extends within the channel with an end terminating at the drainage pit. A layer of gravel is disposed over the exposed ground surface and trench at a predetermined height to cover the perforated conduit. A layer of waterproof cement is provided over the ground surface at a predetermined height to cover the gravel, channel and perforated conduit to form the waterproof cement floor which extends across an entire periphery of the elevator pit.

METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING ELEVATOR AND ELEVATOR

The invention relates to a method for constructing an elevator, comprising providing an elevator car; providing plurality of prefabricated hoistway modules to be piled on top of each other, each hoistway module bordering a hoistway space into which the whole elevator car or at least an upper or lower end thereof can be fitted to move; and piling said plurality of prefabricated modules on top of each other, such that the hoistway spaces of the prefabricated modules are vertically aligned forming a continuous vertically elongated hoistway where the elevator car can be fitted to move; and arranging the elevator car to be vertically movable in the hoistway. The invention also relates to an elevator obtained with the method.
