A tool for applying a binding agent and/or a filler is provided. The tool enables convenient and accurate application of the binding agent and/or the filler, such as adhesive or mortar for wall panels and grout between wall panels. The tool comprises a body including a front surface, a rear surface, and a plurality of edges circumferentially extending around the body, each of the plurality of edges defining a junction of the front surface and the rear surface. One of the plurality of edges comprises a plurality of teeth extending away from the body. The teeth may comprise a flat face. One of the plurality of edges may comprise a protrusion. One or more rounded corners may be circumferentially disposed around the body between two proximal edges.

A system for installing pre-painted moldings. The system includes pre-painted moldings each configured to be fastened to a wall by fasteners. The system also includes a caulk material, filler material, concealer material, and touchup paint each color matched to the paint color applied to the moldings. The caulk material is configured to fill a gap defined between each of the moldings and the wall to which the molding is fastened. The filler material is configured to fill a gap defined between any abutting portions of the moldings. The concealer material is configured to conceal any surface disturbances caused by the installation of the fasteners. The touchup paint is configured to adhere to the paint pre-painted on the moldings. The system may also include a marker configured to apply a coating color matched to the paint applied to the moldings, a scraping tool, and/or a buffing tool.

A tool for cleaning a tile bonding compound from between and on a plurality of adjacent tiles includes an elongated handle and a tool head fixed with the handle. The tool head is comprised of a first tool and a second tool. The first tool includes a foam scrubber and a seam scrubber or wiper. The second tool includes at least one arcuate elastomeric wiper and a seam wiper. Both the foam scrubber and elastomeric wiper are adapted for scrubbing the tile bonding compound from a front face of the adjacent tiles, while the seam scrubber and seam wiper are adapted for fitting between two of the adjacent tiles to scrub the tile bonding compound from between the tiles.

A combination tool apparatus selectively stows and deploys a plurality of variously configured implements for spreading materials. A housing defines a coupling end portion and includes first and second plate members extending longitudinally from the coupling end portion to define a stowage compartment therebetween. A blade set includes a plurality of blade members respectively defining spreading portions of various configuration. Each of the blade members is angularly displaceable between stowed and deployed positions with respect to the housing. When stowed, each blade member is disposed substantially within the stowage compartment of the housing. When deployed, each blade member has at least a portion extending outward from the stowage compartment. A coupling member disposed at the coupling end portion of the housing is pivotally coupled to the blade members for angular displacement thereabout between the stowed and deployed positions. The blade members are biased to remain in the stowed position.

The invention is hand tool and methods of use therefor for removing excess mastic and other debris from spacing between tiles. The device has a polygonal body, with a single projection extending from each side. Each projection has a different width and/or length, and is sized to fit in the spacing between adjacent tiles. Methods of installing and/or renovating and/or repairing tile with the hand tool are also disclosed.
