ADJUSTABLE STOPPER ASSEMBLY FOR PRESS BRAKE
The present disclosure provides for a reversible and adjustable stopper assembly comprised of an upper frame, L-bracket, connector portion and stopping member. The stopper can be configured to be secured to at least two main types of press brakes. The stopping portion of the stopper is also reversible, allowing for less sheet metal to be inserted into the press brake, if desired. The stopper assembly can be slid in a horizontal manner, relative to the press brake to preserve the measurement of the sheet metal from one end of the press brake to the other.
Surface repair tool
A surface repair tool for repairing defects in surfaces includes a handle with an applicator blade extending from one end of the handle and a sanding device extending from the opposite end of the handle. The handle includes a receptacle into which is removably received a container of repair compound. The applicator blade includes an application surface and a flow passage that has an inlet and an orifice formed through the application surface. Squeezing the container causes repair compound in the container to flow through the flow passage of the applicator blade and out of the orifice where it is dispensed onto the applicator surface to be spread on a surface needing repair. Once the repair compound dries, the sanding device is used to sand the repair compound to a desire finish.
Automated drywall painting system and method
An automated painting system that includes a robotic arm and a painting end effector coupled at a distal end of the robotic arm, with the painting end effector configured to apply paint to a target surface. The painting system can also include a computing device executing a computational planner that: generates instructions for driving the painting end effector and robotic arm to perform at least one painting task that includes applying paint, via the painting the end effector, to a plurality of drywall pieces, the generating based at least in part on obtained target surface data; and drives the end effector and robotic arm to perform the at least one painting task.
Joint compound application assembly
A joint compound application assembly for applying joint compound on drywall includes a rod that has a conduit integrated therein. The conduit is fluidly coupled to a source of joint compound thereby facilitating the joint compound to be urged through the conduit. A box is coupled to the rod and the box has a bottom end that is open into an interior of the box. A spray bar is fluidly coupled to the conduit and the spray bar is directed toward the bottom end of the box to spray the joint compound onto a wall or ceiling. A knife is coupled to the box to smooth the joint compound on the wall or ceiling.

FORMABLE CORNER FINISHING AND TRIM STRIP
A formable trim strip for use in connection with drywall applications includes two or more layers, including a trim strip body and a backing paper. The trim strip body extends along a body axis and has a top surface and a bottom surface. The trim strip body comprises a polymer material. The backing paper includes a portion secured to the bottom surface of the trim strip body without an intervening layer of adhesive material. The trim strip body is coated onto the portion of the backing paper when a temperature of the trim strip body is within the melting point range such that the bottom surface of the trim strip body contacts the portion of the backing paper. As the trim strip body cools to a temperature below the melting point range, the portion of the backing paper bonds to the bottom surface of the trim strip body.
TAPE APPLICATOR WITH ADJUSTABLE COMPOUND FLOW AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING THE COMPOUND FLOW OF SUCH AN APPLICATOR
The invention relates to a strip applicator (1) for joining two plaster boards. The applicator comprises a container (4) having an output slot (9) for the strip which has a determined height and is provided with height adjustment means comprising: —a height adjustment plate (16) arranged inside the container, —a securing plate slidably secured against the front wall (13) and comprising a sliding guide provided with an elongate opening, the securing plate comprising a sliding stop (111b) provided with a central hole (115) and cooperating with the sliding guide—a shaft (17) for coupling and clamping the plate, the shaft being engaged in an opening (16a) of the plate, in the elongate opening, and in the central hole—means (116, 117) for tensioning/de-tensioning the coupling and clamping shaft.
TAPE APPLICATOR WITH TAPE PROTECTION AND METHOD FOR MAINTAINING SUCH AN APPLICATOR
An applicator of jointing tape for joining two sheets of plasterboard includes a mud chamber through which the tape is paid out. The chamber has a tape inlet slot formed between a free end of a rear wall of the chamber and a first free end of a lower wall of the chamber. The free end of the rear wall of the chamber and the first free end of the lower wall of the chamber comprise a cylinder with a cross section greater than a thickness of the wall to which each cylinder is attached, each cylinder being covered by a removable protective sleeve with an interior cross section that complements the cylinder that the sleeve covers, each protective sleeve having a longitudinal opening delimited by two immobilization edges for immobilization against the wall bearing the cylinder that the sleeve covers.
PLASTERBOARD FINISHING TOOLS
An apparatus for use in drywall plastering, and more specifically for applying a pumpable finishing compound to a surface, is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a receptacle for storing the pumpable compound, an applicator for applying the compound to a surface or feature to which the compound is to be applied, a pump for pumping the compound from the receptacle to the applicator for application to the surface or feature, an electric motor which drives the pump, a battery that powers the electric motor, and a conduit through which the compound is pumped from the receptacle to the applicator, and the receptacle, pump, motor and battery of the apparatus may be able to be worn by a user, or carried on a part of the user’s body, while the apparatus is in use for applying the compound to the surface or feature. The apparatus is self-contained and self-powered, and it can consequently operate in an “untethered” manner in the sense that it does not require any power cables extending from the apparatus to a remote power outlet or generator, and there is no need for any hoses or the like to deliver finishing compound, or compressed air, or anything like that, to the apparatus while it is in use.
