Texturizing a wall or ceiling with non-acoustical joint compound
A method of texturing a wall or ceiling with non-acoustical joint compound by providing a collapsible bag having an opening at its top and is adapted to contain non-acoustical joint compound for forming a textured coating on the wall or ceiling and providing a spray nozzle having a low pressure input port, a joint compound suction port attached to the opening at the top of the collapsible bag, and an output port for spraying the non-acoustical joint compound. A low pressure stream of air from an air gun attached to the low pressure input port urges a small quantity of the non-acoustical joint compound to be sprayed out of the spray nozzle when the bottom of the collapsible disposable bag is raised above its top to either allow or force the joint compound to flow into the suction port and into the interior of the spray nozzle.

Illuminated wall composition pan
An apparatus and method for illuminating a work area for applying a wall composition. An illuminated wall composition pan provides a lightweight, self-contained carrier for a workspace illumination. The illuminated wall composition pan is configured to retain a protective liner to prevent the pan from becoming soiled by the wall composition. It is also light weight, and a carrier may be provided to assist holding the illuminated wall composition pan. The illuminated wall composition pan includes an elongate tray 18 dimensioned to contain a volume of wall composition and has a length to contain a wall composition applicator tool. The pan has a first end face and a second end face, a front wall, and a back ball. A first plurality of high brightness LED lights are disposed in a spaced apart relation about the first end face and a rechargeable battery carried in the second end face.

Joint compound tool
A joint compound tool including a handle having a first end and a second end where a blade portion is attached to the first end and a mixing member is attached to the second end. The handle, the blade portion and the mixing member each have substantially the same thickness where the mixing member is used to mix joint compound and the blade is used to apply the joint compound to a surface.

Apparatus and methods for ergonomic building tools
The present invention is directed generally to building tools with improved comfort in gripping and/or efficient control that may be used in various manners and orientations. A handle and work object (e.g., trowel blade) may be connected together by a connecting member (or connecting means) that may be a sloped, angled, and/or substantially curved member, so that a user has increased hand orientation options and/or control over the tool while gripping the handle and/or connecting member in various manners and orientations. In various embodiment(s), the connecting member (e.g., a tang for a trowel) may be a relatively gradually and/or notably sloped, angled, and/or curved structure that may reasonably provide a comfortable extension of the handle and augment the gripping of the tool. The various tools may include a handle connecting member having construction whereby a portion of the sides of the handle connecting member are removed. Magnesium may be used.
