FINISHING TUBE ASSEMBLY
A finishing head for attachment to a viscous material dispense includes an adapter having an inlet attachable to the viscous material dispenser and defining a first axis, and an outlet defining a second axis perpendicular to the first axis. The finishing head further includes a finisher body having a cavity and an opening in a bottom face thereof, and a hollow pivot pivotably coupling the adapter to the finisher body about the second axis. The cavity of the finisher body is in fluid communication with the adapter outlet via the hollow pivot such that viscous material discharged from the adapter outlet passes through the hollow pivot before being discharged from the opening of the finisher body.
Device for smoothing of viscose building material
This invention belongs to the field of construction. More specifically, it covers a device that is suitable for finishing and sealing the joints and openings of different surfaces. The device includes a base, which is conical in its essence. The base has a collar to connect the device to the gun of sealant of finishing material; a holder is integrated with the base at an angle, a movable smoothing pad with a carriage has been fitted in the holder, and the carriage is installed in a casing inside holder. In the working position, there is a space between the smoothing pad and the tip of the nozzle of the tube, so that the material which is applied from the tube to the surface can visually be monitored and thus the desirable quantity dosed during the performance of the works.
Caulking tool
A caulking tool configured to be frictionally attached to a user's finger during use. The caulking tool in one example having; a convex caulk spreader comprising a pliable spreader surface configured to spread caulk smoothly between a first wall surface and a second wall surface to which the caulk is adhered. In one example junction between a first wall surface and a second wall surface will be in a corner junction between the two wall surfaces. In one example the caulking tool comprises a finger tube fixed to the caulk spreader. The finger tube may be cast with the spreader surface and thus forms a monolithic, single component without seams therebetween. The finger tube in one example having an inner surface configured to frictionally engage the outer surface of a user's finger. In one example the inner surface of the finger tube is tapered from a first longitudinal end to a second longitudinal end.
ADJUSTABLE KNOCKDOWN TOOL
An adjustable knockdown tool includes a coupling member, a blade support, and an actuator. The coupling member includes a housing defining a channel. The housing includes an actuator receptacle and a locking element that is located between the actuator receptacle and the channel. The locking element is movable between locking and releasing positions. The blade support extends through the channel and is coupled to a blade member. The blade support is rotatable relative to the channel when the locking element is at the releasing position so as to change an angle of the blade member, and the blade support is fixed relative to the channel when the locking element is at the locking position so as to fix the angle of the blade member. The actuator is configured to be coupled to the actuator receptacle to cause the locking element to move from the releasing to the locking position.
Method and apparatus for concurrently dispensing and fairing high viscosity fluid
A method and apparatus for forming and shaping a fillet at an interface. A fluid may be dispensed from a nozzle onto the interface as the nozzle is moved along the interface to form the fillet. An exposed surface of the fillet may be worked using a fairing element associated with the nozzle, as the nozzle is moved along the interface and the fluid is dispensed from the nozzle.
Smoothening pad for an applicator for sealants
A construction of a smoothening pad for an applicator where, in order to make the smoothening pad more resistant to wear, a more rigid silicone is used for forming it and a bolster made of a softer polymer is provided in the front portion of the smoothening pad so as to make the front portion and the face of the smoothening pad more elastic, wherein the bolster is covered with a layer of a polymer that is more rigid than the material used for forming the body, or alternatively, a gap or chambers are formed in the front portion that in turn may be divided into sub-chambers by partitions. This way, the smoothening pad is provided with a face, that has the required degree of elasticity but is more resistant to wear.
Applicator with interchangeable heads
An applicator for dispensing a viscous material from a container. The applicator comprises a nozzle for fluid communication with the container. The nozzle has an outlet at a first end and base in proximity to an opposed second end. The nozzle further includes a support arm spaced apart from the nozzle. The support arm and the nozzle collectively forming a slot therebetween for releasably receiving a blade. An attachment portion extend from the base and is configured to releasably engage the container to permit material within the container to flow under pressure through the nozzle and onto a surface. When the blade is received within the slot, it contacts the material as it exits the nozzle and assists in forming the material into a desired shape or configuration.
PLASTERBOARD FINISHING TOOLS
An apparatus for use in drywall plastering, and more specifically for applying a pumpable finishing compound to a surface, is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a receptacle for storing the pumpable compound, an applicator for applying the compound to a surface or feature to which the compound is to be applied, a pump for pumping the compound from the receptacle to the applicator for application to the surface or feature, an electric motor which drives the pump, a battery that powers the electric motor, and a conduit through which the compound is pumped from the receptacle to the applicator, and the receptacle, pump, motor and battery of the apparatus may be able to be worn by a user, or carried on a part of the user’s body, while the apparatus is in use for applying the compound to the surface or feature. The apparatus is self-contained and self-powered, and it can consequently operate in an “untethered” manner in the sense that it does not require any power cables extending from the apparatus to a remote power outlet or generator, and there is no need for any hoses or the like to deliver finishing compound, or compressed air, or anything like that, to the apparatus while it is in use.
SYSTEM OF DRYWALL FINISHING IN BUILDING CONSTRUCTION
A system for finishing an interior or exterior drywall surface of a building structure can apply a predetermined formulation of dispensable compound material in liquefied form at a continuous flow with simultaneous surface finishing characteristics while reducing labor intensity and maximizing finish quality to a level 5 standard.
Utility tool
A utility tool with at least one blade that is capable of being disposed at least partially within the body of the utility tool. The at least one blade may swivel around an access of rotation and engage with a locking mechanism to keep the blade secure when in use and secure in the body when in a closed position.
