The present invention relates to a floor panel, a flooring system including the panel and methods of use thereof for forming a graded wet area, floor, pathway or decking. In one form, the present invention provides a floor panel for forming a graded wet area. The panel includes a pair of opposed surfaces including an upper surface and an opposed lower surface interconnected by opposed side edges, a first end edge and an opposed second end edge. The panel further includes a plurality of protrusions protruding from one of the opposed surfaces and extending at least partially across the panel between the opposed side edges, said protrusions protruding at differing heights from the one of the opposed surfaces to define a panel gradient extending between the first end edge and the second end edge.

Floor panel

A floor panel has a rectangular and oblong shape, and includes a substrate and a top layer provided on the substrate and forming a decorative side of the floor panel. The top layer is composed of a print provided on a carrier sheet and a transparent thermoplastic layer situated above the print. The substrate has a thickness from 2 to 10 millimeter and forms at least half of the thickness of the floor panel. The substrate is a polyurethane-based substrate and the transparent thermoplastic layer is polyurethane-based. The floor panel has a length of more than 1.1 meters and has a plurality of reinforcing layers situated outside the center line of the substrate. A reinforcing layer may be provided in combination with the substrate and the top layer.

PANEL CONNECTION

A connection between substantially planar panels is disclosed. A panel comprises a panel body, said panel body comprising a pair of planar members, deployed in parallel spaced arrangement, and connected by an outer side wall. A connection assembly extends circumferentially from each panel body, with a connection assembly including a planar connection surface for engaging in a plane a corresponding connection surface on a second panel. The planar connection surface and the side wall defining an acute angle, wherein said plane is at an angle of 2°-8° to the plane of the panel bodies.

WALL OR CEILING PANELS AND WALL OR CEILING COVERING

A rectangular panel which, on the first and on the second pair of opposite edges, has coupling parts configured for easy installation in a wall or ceiling covering. A locking occurs between the coupled panels; and a wall or ceiling covering that includes such panels

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ASSEMBLING A FLOOR PANEL

An assembly apparatus for assembling a floor panel can include a platform to support a base layer and a top layer of the floor panel. The platform can include a first wall configured to contact a first edge of the base layer and a first edge of the top layer. The platform can further include second wall adjacent to the first wall and configured to contact a second edge of the base layer and a second edge of the top layer. A sensor unit can determine whether the first edge of the base layer is aligned with the first edge of the top layer, and whether the second edge of the base layer is aligned with the second edge of the top layer.

Panels for floor coverings, wall coverings or ceilings have a first pair of opposite edges and a second pair of opposite edges. The opposite edges are provided with coupling parts that allow opposite edges of such panels to be coupled in a more easy way; and/or that allow that installation patterns can be made using the panels, without requiring a second type or second configuration of panels. The panel is provided with locking elements that create a locking of the so-coupled panels in the direction perpendicular to the plane of the panels; and in the direction parallel with the panels and perpendicular to the coupled panel edges.
