REVERSIBLE FLOOR COVERING ELEMENT
A floor covering element includes coupling means at two opposite edges. The floor covering element includes one or a combination of two or more of the following features: the top surface and/or the bottom surface is, at the respective edge, provided with a lowered surface, such as a bevel; the coupling means comprise a tongue with one or more elastically bendable portions; the coupling means are configured to allow for a closed connection at only one of the top and bottom surfaces; the coupling means allow for an assembly and/or disassembly by angling in, respectively out, upwardly and downwardly; the groove and/or the tongue are formed by a separate insert; the coupling means have a varying geometry along the respective edge; the floor covering element has a decorative surface at the top surface and at the bottom surface.
FLOOR ELEMENT AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FLOOR ELEMENTS
A floor element includes a decorative top layer on a polymer substrate. The sides of the floor element have a profile along a section with a surface at right angles to the decorative top layer. The floor panel is provided with a water-repellent coating on at least one side. For each side and along the entire length of the side, at least a part of the profile is coated with a water-repellent coating.
PANEL FOR PRODUCING SELF-LOCKING FLOOR COVERING
The invention relates to a panel in the form of a strip or tile for producing of a floor covering, the panel comprising two pairs of opposite sides defining—two opposite edges for the assembly at an angle, of which one edge comprises male coupling means provided from a side wall of the panel, and an opposite edge comprises complementary female coupling means provided from a side wall of the panel; two opposite edges for vertical assembly, of which one edge comprises a male coupling means provide provided from a bottom face of the panel, and an opposite edge comprises complementary female coupling mead provided from a top face of the panel. According to the invention, the male coupling means of the edges for vertical assembly comprise two parallel groves that extend along the edge and open onto a lower face of the panel so as to define an inner male groove.
Panel
A panel having a core, a top side, a bottom side, and edge pairs provided on opposite panel edges. At least one first edge pair has complementary locking elements. One locking element is a locking groove on a groove side of the edge pair and the complementary locking element is a locking tongue on a tongue side of the edge pair. The locking tongue of a first panel can be placed against the locking groove of a second panel of the same kind when the first panel is tilted, and the two panels can be locked to one another interlockingly by a rotating joining movement of the panels relative to one another. The form fit counteracts moving apart of the locked panels specifically in a direction that lies in the plane of the locked panels and is simultaneously perpendicular to the locked panel edges. The locking tongue has, on a top side, a contact surface directed to the panel top side. The top groove wall has a touch surface designed so that when two panels are in the locked state, the touch surface is mated to the contact surface of the tongue top side. At the front of the locking tongue a rounding adjoins the contact surface so that the rounding forms a cross-sectionally round free end of the locking tongue so that a round transition to the tongue bottom side is created. The rounding of the locking tongue has a radius at least equal to the distal extent of the contact surface.
FIBRE BASED PANELS WITH A WEAR RESISTANCE SURFACE
Building panels with a homogenous decorative surface having a wear layer comprising fibres, binders and wear resistant particles. A building panel including a surface layer and a core, the core including wood fibres, and the surface layer including a substantially homogenous mix of wood fibres, a binder and wear resistant particles, the substantially homogenous mix of wood fibres including natural resins.
Floor panel for forming a floor covering
A floor panel for forming a floor covering comprises a substrate consisting of at least two substrate layers differing in density and, on at least one pair of opposite edges, is provided with coupling parts of the so-called push-lock type. Vertically active locking surfaces, where they cooperate in the coupled condition of two of such floor panels, define a tangent line which is horizontal or does not deviate more than 50 degrees from the horizontal. The locking surfaces are situated closer to the upper side of the first substrate layer than to the lower side of the first substrate layer.
MECHANICAL LOCKING SYSTEM FOR FLOOR PANELS
Floor panels are shown, which are provided with a mechanical locking system that may be locked with a vertical displacement of a first panel against a second panel. The locking system includes a first rigid and a second flexible joint edge section with different locking functions. The first edge section provides a horizontal locking and the second section provides a vertical locking.
PANEL, COVERING AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING SUCH PANELS
A panel for forming a covering, more particularly a floor panel for forming a floor covering, which at least at two opposite edges, comprises coupling parts arranged to couple two of such panels to each other by means of a downward movement of one panel in respect to the other. The coupling parts form a first locking system arranged to lock in the plane of the panels and perpendicularly to the edges, as well as form a second locking system, which effects a locking perpendicularly to the plane of the panels. At least one of the coupling parts is formed at least partially in soft PVC (polyvinyl chloride), as well as at least partially formed from a milled profiled part of this soft PVC.
FLOOR PANEL FOR FORMING A FLOOR COVERING
A floor panel for forming a floor covering, such that the floor covering includes floor panels, which, on at least one pair of edges, are provided with coupling parts. The coupling parts are substantially manufactured from the material of the floor panel. The coupling parts are configured such that two floor panels, at the pair of edges, can be installed and locked to each other by a downward movement and/or by using a fold-down principle.
Mechanical locking of floor panels with vertical snap folding
Floor panels are shown, which are provided with a mechanical locking system on long and short edges allowing installation with vertical snap folding that could be accomplished automatically without tools and where the short edge locking system has a tongue made in one piece with the panel. The floor panels may have a first and a second connector at the long edges that are configured to obtain a minimum of friction facilitating a displacement, by a spring back force from the bending of a short edge locking strip, of a new panel in a horizontal direction along the long edge during the vertical snap folding action.
