An object is to provide an inorganic board and a method for manufacturing the same that are suited to achieving high waterproofness.

A manufacturing method of the present invention includes first to sixth steps. The first step involves depositing a raw material on a receiving plate B1 to form a first layer L1. The second step involves pressing a first portion Ma and a second portion Mb of a raw material mat M including the first layer L1 toward the receiving plate B1 to compress the first portion Ma and the second portion Mb. The first portion Ma and the second portion Mb are one end portion and the other end portion, respectively, of the raw material mat M in a first direction D1. The third step involves depositing a raw material on the first layer L1 to form a second layer L2. The fourth step involves planarizing an exposed surface of the second layer L2. The fifth step involves curing the raw material mat M pressed between the receiving plate B1 and a pressing plate B2 to form a cured plate M′ from raw material mat M. The sixth step involves processing the first portion Ma and the second portion Mb into a first back-side joint part P1 and a first front-side joint part P2, respectively. An inorganic board X1 according to the present invention includes the first back-side joint part P1 and the first front-side joint part P2 that are high-density parts.

A method of applying a protective film to a construction panel comprising: (a) selectively applying an adhesive composition to a peripheral region of a surface of the construction panel; and/or selectively applying an adhesive composition to a peripheral region of a surface of the protective film; and (b) applying a protective film to the surface of the construction panel to bond the protective film to the construction panel. A construction panel comprising a protective film layer on a surface of the panel and a peripheral adhesive composition layer located between said surface of the panel and the protective film layer, wherein the peripheral adhesive composition layer extends from an edge of the panel and across from about 0.1% to about 25% of the width of the surface.

A load distributing and absorbing system that lies below a superstructure material which is exposed to percussive forces. The load distributing and absorbing system is interposed between the superstructure material and a foundation. The system has a barrier layer that lies below the superstructure material and an underlayment infrastructure positioned below the barrier layer. Floor tiles, systems and methods of interconnecting floor tiles in which the tile(s) have a base substrate and a laminate layer. The substrate can have upstanding edges on a top surface where the edges define a rim at a perimeter of the substrate for aligning the laminate layer on the top surface of the substrate. The substrate can have connecting means for engaging with connecting means of a substrate of another tile to form an interconnected floor system. By engaging the connecting means of a tile with another tile aligns and positions a side edge of the tile with the side edge of the another file in a side by side arrangement to provide a grout effect for the tiles when they are connected.

A floor tile comprising a base substrate and a laminate layer, wherein the base substrate comprises a top layer with a laminate layer receiver on a top surface thereof and a bottom layer with connecting means for engaging with connecting means of a base substrate of a further tile to form an interconnected flooring system. The present invention relates to a panel and to a covering including a plurality of such panels. The present invention particularly relates to floor panels, and more in particular to laminated floor panels, hardwood floor panels, solid wood floor panels, or PVC based floor panels. The invention proposes a coupling of the tongues of different adjacent panels that are arranged on the short side of those panels by a tongue of a further panel that is arranged on the long side of that panel. Compared to prior art panels, an improved coupling between the short sides of adjacent panels can be achieved, reducing the likelihood that these panels become detached.

A method and apparatus for minimizing tissue adhesion in a tissue of a subject includes applying light, to the tissue, that reduces at least one adhesion marker in the tissue, the light having wavelengths in at least one of a first wavelength range of 730-770 nm and a second wavelength range of 930-970 nm, wherein the at least one adhesion marker includes at least one of a transforming growth factor beta 1 (TGF-β1), a vascular endothelial growth factor, (VEGF), and a collagen alpha-1(I) chain (COL|α|), and wherein the light is free of wavelengths that increase the at least one adhesion marker.
