A method of assembling a ceiling formwork comprising the steps of: providing a scaffold (10) positioned adjacent to an area where a ceiling formwork is to be provided; arranging a mounting means (30) for a ceiling panel member (40) at said scaffold; arranging the ceiling panel member (40) on the mounting means (30); arranging at least one support beam member (50) below the ceiling panel member (40) to hold the ceiling panel member (40) in a horizontal position.

A method of assembling a ceiling formwork comprising the steps of: providing a scaffold (10) positioned adjacent to an area where a ceiling formwork is to be provided; arranging a mounting means (30) for a ceiling panel member (40) at said scaffold; arranging the ceiling panel member (40) on the mounting means (30); arranging at least one support beam member (50) below the ceiling panel member (40) to hold the ceiling panel member (40) in a horizontal position.

In summary the invention described herein is broadly directed to a module for forming a reinforced concrete structure comprising (a) a formwork member that defines a cavity, (b) a reinforcement structure in the cavity, and (c) at least one formwork brace interconnecting the formwork member and the reinforcement structure.

A method of erecting a multi-storey structure is disclosed. During construction, at least a portion of a perimeter facade of the structure is disposed to extend at least two storeys height beyond an upper work area of the structure and forms at least part of a safety barrier for that work area and wherein in erecting the multi-story structure, at least one further floor of the structure is erected over the upper work area. The further floor forming a respective subsequent upper work area of the structure, and wherein at least a portion of the facade is disposed to extend at least one storey height beyond the uppermost of the subsequent work areas.

A support head mountable on a support post for supporting a beam in a formwork system is provided. The support head includes a top member for contacting and supporting the beam, a base member mountable on top of the support post, and a pin. Each of the top and base members has a tube with opposing pin holes. The tubes are configured to form vertically extending telescopic tubes, with the pin holes aligned along a horizontal axis. The pin is insertable into the pin holes, and has spaced apart depressions thereon. The pin is slidably moveable in the pin holes from a first position to a second position. In the first position, the depressions are offset from the pin holes. In the second position the depressions are aligned with the respective pin holes thus lowering the first tube and the top member in height.

A ceiling formwork system having a formwork panel which may be placed on at least one vertical support via a mounting head. The mounting head has an anchoring cross-member which in the mounted state on the vertical support is oriented transverse thereto, the length of the anchoring cross-member corresponding to at least one side length of the ceiling formwork panel to be supported, whereby the anchoring cross-member is respectively affixable at its ends to lateral edges of the ceiling formwork panel.
