Work Platform and Method
A work platform includes a plank which telescopes to a desired width. The work platform includes a first leg assembly rotatably attached adjacent to a first end of the plank. The work platform includes a second leg assembly rotatably attached adjacent to a second end of the plank. The plank is in an open position when the plank is supported by the first leg assembly and second leg assembly and the first leg assembly and second leg assembly form an angle greater than 25 degrees with the plank. The plank is in a closed position when the first leg assembly and second leg assembly are adjacent to and in parallel with the plank. A method for using a work platform. A method for producing a work platform.
Interlocking work platform system and method
A work platform system having a first work platform. The system having a first bracket attached to the first scaffold and extending below and outward beyond the first scaffold between the first rail and the second rail of the first leg assembly. The system having a second bracket attached to the first scaffold and extending below and outward beyond the first scaffold between the first rail and the second rail of the first leg assembly. The system having a second work platform. The first end of the second scaffold is disposed on the first bracket and the second bracket with the first bracket and the second bracket extending between the first rung of the third leg assembly and the second scaffold. A method for using a work platform system.
Scaffold With Latch Assembly and Method
A scaffold upon which a person stands includes a platform with a first leg assembly rotatably attached to the platform. The scaffold includes a latch assembly having a latch pivot axis coupled to the platform. The scaffold includes a stud attached to a first leg of the first leg assembly to which the latch assembly engages when the first leg assembly is moved into the extended position to automatically lock the first leg assembly in the extended position where the latch assembly is in a set position. When the latch assembly is moved out of the set position, the stud on the first leg disengages from the latch assembly and the first leg assembly is able to rotate about the first leg assembly pivot axis to a folded position. A method for using a scaffold.
Apparatus Having a Handle on Which a User Stands, and Method
An apparatus includes a platform having a first end and a second end and a handle. The apparatus includes a first leg assembly rotatably attached to the platform in proximity to the first end. The apparatus includes a second leg assembly attentively attached to the platform in proximity to the second end. When the first and second leg assemblies are essentially perpendicular to the platform, the apparatus is in a use state and the user is able to stand on the platform and be supported by the first and second leg assemblies. When the apparatus is in the use state, the user is able to pick up the apparatus by the handle with only one of the hands without tipping the apparatus. A method for a user with hands to stand on an apparatus.

Interlocking Work Platform System and Method
A work platform system having a first work platform. The first work platform having a first hook assembly and a first latch assembly. The system having a second work platform. The second work platform having a second hook assembly and a second latch assembly. The first work platform locked to the second work platform through the first hook assembly engaging with the second latch assembly and the first hook assembly in the use position. A method for using a work platform system. A method for producing a work platform.
LADDER-BASED WINCH-POWERED PLANK SCAFFOLD
A plank scaffold system and, more particularly, to a ladder-based vertically-adjustable plank scaffold system. The system may have a pair of ladders, a wall standoff mounted at the top of each of the ladders, a crane support mounted at the top of each of the ladders, a vertical guide bar and roller system to keep it from swinging on the cables, and a horizontal platform suspended on cables below the crane supports, the platform having a pair of cable winches mounted thereon for varying the elevation of the platform. Instead of ladders, tower scaffolds or stage towers may be used on each side to support the vertically-adjustable plank.
