Scaffold transport system, method for controlling a scaffold transport system and use of a scaffold transport system

A scaffold transport system is described with a rail system having at least one horizontally running rail section, and at least one carriage module, which is designed to move along the rail system. The carriage module has a coupling section via which the carriage module is captively and movably coupled to the rail system, and a carrier section by means of which the carriage module carries objects during the movement.

A remote controlled lift assembly includes a pair of supports is each mountable to a respective outrigger of scaffolding. A winch unit is positionable on the supports when the supports are mounted on the scaffolding and the winch unit has a cable extending downwardly therefrom. The cable is lowered or lifted when the winch is actuated. A receiver is coupled to the winch unit and the receiver is in electrical communication with the winch unit. A remote control is provided that is carried by a user and the remote control is in wireless electrical communication with the receiver. In this way the user can remotely lift and lower the cable for lifting and lowering cargo.

A plank scaffold system and, more particularly, to a ladder-based vertically-adjustable plank scaffold system. The system may have a pair of ladders, a wall standoff mounted at the top of each of the ladders, a crane support mounted at the top of each of the ladders, a vertical guide bar and roller system to keep it from swinging on the cables, and a horizontal platform suspended on cables below the crane supports, the platform having a pair of cable winches mounted thereon for varying the elevation of the platform. Instead of ladders, tower scaffolds or stage towers may be used on each side to support the vertically-adjustable plank.

The invention relates to a lift drive for a rail-guided climbing system (10), which can be used, in particular, as a climbing formwork, climbing frame, climbing protective wall and/or a climbing working platform. The lift drive comprises climbing shoes (32, 34, 36, 38) that can be arranged on a building (1) in a fixed manner, at least one climbing rail (18) which is guided by the climbing shoes (32, 34, 36, 38) and which can be integrated into a frame unit (11) or secured to the frame unit (11), and a climbing lift rail (24) which can be moved relative to the climbing rail (18) and is guided by the climbing rail (18), wherein the climbing rail (18) and the climbing lift rail (24) can each be mounted in at least one of the climbing shoes (32, 34, 36, 38) in one direction and removed in a direction opposite said direction, and they can be moved in relation to the at least one of the climbing shoes (32, 34, 36, 38). The lift drive also comprises a lift device (26) which is fixed to the climbing rail (18) at one end and to the climbing lift rail (24) at the other end in such a way that a length (3, 4, 5) of a stroke of the lift device (26) corresponds to a movement (3′; 3′, 4′; 5′, 5″) of the climbing rail (24) relative to the climbing rail (18), and wherein the length (4) of the stroke when the climbing lift rail (24) is mounted is sufficient to mount the climbing rail (18) such that it is offset by a mounting distance (20) of the climbing rail (18).

Drywall scaffold roller lift

The drywall scaffold roller (DSR) is a lightweight tool weighing approximately two pounds that construction workers who hang drywall (or plywood) can use to roll the heavy material from the ground to the workers on a scaffold instead of lifting it themselves using their back, arms and legs, which causes injuries. Currently, a drywaller on the ground physically lifts a 100+ pound sheet of drywall, plywood or other heavy materials upwards as much as 20 feet to the person on the scaffold, who then has to lift and/or pull the materials up onto the scaffold. Both people must use their arms, knees, shoulders and back to lift the heavy material, and the worker on the scaffold sometimes uses his foot to slide the material up onto the scaffold. The DSR helps eliminate this unsafe lifting procedure by providing a rolling mechanism to roll the sheet of material instead of lifting it. This takes most of the weight of the heavy material off the workers, making it safer and easier, and possibly reducing arm, shoulder, back and foot injuries from manually lifting the heavy sheet of drywall. It is an inexpensive way for drywall and construction companies to more likely than not reduce the number of workplace injuries and worker's compensation claims.

A support platform for enabling a worker to service an oil well next to a wellhead having a valve tree includes a platform having an upper floor, a lower floor and a cavity in between the floors. A platform provides a periphery, a central opening and radially extending beams. A plurality of walls attached to the periphery of the platform, said beams connecting to said walls below said upper floor. A drain that enables fluid to drain from the upper floor to the lower floor and into the cavity. A coupler that spans between the floors for enabling a connection to be made between the platform and valve tree. A liquid guard or other provision that disallows the escape of fluid from a floor via the central opening. One or more sleeves are provided in the cavity, each connecting to the upper floor, each sleeve having a bore that extends to and through the upper floor. Fluid that drains to the cavity is not able to escape the cavity via the sleeve or sleeve bore.
