The device further comprises at least one fixing component (16) located along the length of the sheet and arranged to project, in use, in a direction orthogonal to the length of the sheet. The at least two supporting components (14, 15) are configured for supporting, in use, a rod for fencings and the at least one fixing component (16) is configured to be fixed to a formwork and limit the height of the rod as to the formwork. A method for manufacturing the rod supporting device (10) is provided.
Support apparatus
There is provided a railing post adaptor for a roof support apparatus. The roof support apparatus comprises an elongate member having a plurality of longitudinal sides. The railing post adaptor comprises a roof support apparatus connector for securing the railing post adaptor to the roof support apparatus. The roof support apparatus connector comprises a first connection portion arranged to engage, in use, with a first set of the plurality of longitudinal sides, and a second connection portion, movably mounted to the first connection portion and arranged to engage, in use, with a second set of the plurality of longitudinal sides, the second set being different from the first set. The roof support apparatus connector further comprises a railing connection portion extending from the roof support apparatus connector for detachably securing a proximal end of a railing post to the roof support apparatus via the railing post adaptor. The first set and the second set each comprise at least two longitudinal sides. The first connection portion and the second connection portion are together configured to substantially prevent rotation of the railing post adapter about a longitudinal axis of the elongate member by engagement with the first set and second set of longitudinal sides.
SAFETY GATES FOR ELEVATED PLATFORMS, AND RELATED METHODS OF USE
A safety gate has: a structural frame including a pair of columns spaced from one another along a peripheral edge of an elevated platform to define a ledge entrance to a staging area of the elevated platform; a ledge gate; and a staging gate; and in which the ledge gate and the staging gate are connected to move together relative to the pair of columns: into a loading configuration when the ledge gate rises and pitches upward, and the staging gate lowers and unfolds laterally away from the pair of structural columns, to allow a) the ledge gate to open the ledge entrance and b) the staging gate to enclose the staging area; and into an unloading configuration when the ledge gate lowers and pitches downward, and the staging gate rises and folds laterally toward the pair of structural columns, to allow a) the ledge gate to close the ledge entrance and b) the staging gate to expose the staging area.
Side protector, ceiling formwork system having at least one such side protector, and method for erecting such a side protector
A side protector for ceiling formwork. The ceiling formwork comprises at least one formwork element having a frame. The side protector has a railing. Furthermore, the side protector has a pivoting frame. The railing is connected to the pivoting frame. The pivoting frame can be connected indirectly or directly to the frame from the bottom side of the ceiling formwork. The pivoting frame can be pivoted from an installation position into an end position about an axis of rotation (A) in such a way that the ceiling formwork is laterally secured by the railing. Furthermore, a ceiling formwork system, having at least one corresponding side protector and ceiling formwork, is specified. In addition, a method for erecting such a side protector is specified.
Perimeter protection system for a horizontal formwork system, and method of assembly of a perimeter protection system
A perimeter protection system for protecting operators against lateral falling when installing formwork panels in a horizontal formwork system. According to one embodiment the perimeter protection system includes a perimeter protection structure configured for being fixed, in a working position, to the horizontal formwork system, and at least one auxiliary device configured for being fixed to the horizontal formwork system and for fixing the perimeter protection structure to the horizontal formwork system. The auxiliary device includes guiding means collaborating with a guide of the perimeter protection structure for positioning the perimeter protection structure in an initial assembly position. In the initial assembly position the structure is configured to be raised up to an intermediate position where it is permitted to swing until it is positioned in the working position.
Fall protection cable system for roofing installation on steel buildings and method of use and installation thereof
A fall protection cable system configured for installation of a roof on a steel building includes a starting support post, a final support post, and a support cable. The starting support post is configured for attachment to a first side of the steel building and has a bottom starting end configured to attach to the first side of the steel building and a top starting end extending above the roof. The final support post is configured for attachment to a second side of the steel building and has a bottom final end configured to attach to the second side of the steel building and a top final end extending above the roof on the second side. The support cable is configured to be connected at an elevated position above the roof of the steel building between the top starting end and the top final end.
Barrier Guardrail Panel Assembly
The present application provides a barrier guardrail assembly comprising: a barrier guardrail panel having a top horizontal rail and a vertical rail on each of left and right edges of the panel having an upward extending tab positioned generally at the top end of the vertical rails, and which extends beyond a top edge surface of the horizontal rail; and one or more vertical support posts, each comprising a shaft having a tab bracket having an optional tab gusset which is engageable with the upward extending tabs of the panel, first and second segments engageable with and for retaining the horizontal rail, and a base plate having one or more vertical guide members forming a channel for restraining a bottom edge of the barrier guardrail panel in position when assembled with the vertical support posts.
SAFETY BARRIER FOR AUTOMATED VEHICLE PARKING FACILITY
