Railing system
A railing system having a number of spaced apart support bases and a railing is provided. The railing includes a number of vertically extending stanchions connected to the support bases and a number of horizontally extending members extending between the vertically extending stanchions. The railing is configured to be shifted relative to the support bases between a stored position and an erected position. The railing is automatically secured in the erected position when the railing is shifted from the stored position to the erected position.
Temporary Safety Barrier System
The invention described herein is a temporary safety barrier system comprising a vertical post, where a base plate is pivotally attached to the bottom distal end of the vertical post via a hinge, where an at least one horizontal socket is located in the top half of the vertical post, where an angled brace first end is pivotally secured to the base plate and an angled brace second end is configured to removably connect to the vertical post; and where an at least one horizontal safety rail is removably secured within the at least one horizontal socket.
FOLDING HANDRAIL FOR WORK VEHICLE
A handrail system for a work vehicle has a handrail including a first rail member configured to extend in first direction and a second rail member coupled to the first rail member and configured to extend in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction. The handrail system also has a fold structure configured to couple the handrail to the work vehicle and move the handrail between an upright position and a folded position with respect to the work vehicle. When in the folded position, the handrail has a support surface that is elevated along a central area of the handrail higher than at least one side of the handrail.
VERTICALLY RAISING SAFETY RAIL WITH DUAL CURTAIN ASSEMBLY
A vertical raising safety rail. The safety rail includes lower linkage arm assemblies that are connected to a base and to a center rail assembly and configured to raise or lower the center rail assembly relative to the base when a rotational force is applied to the drive shaft. The safety rail also includes upper linkage arm assemblies that are connected to the center rail assembly and to a top rail. The upper linkage arm assemblies are connected to corresponding lower linkage assemblies and are configured to move the top rail relative to the center rail assembly. When the top rail is raised, one or more safety curtains are unfurled from a take-up roller inside the top rail to provide a safety curtain in the vertical plane of the safety rail.
Vertically raising safety rail
A vertical raising safety rail having a moveable top rail, a base, a movable center rail assembly positioned above the base and below the top rail, a drive shaft, and a motor that provides rotational power to the drive shaft. The safety rail further includes a pair of spaced apart lower linkage arm assemblies that is operatively connected to the base and to the center rail assembly and configured to raise or lower the center rail assembly relative to the base when a rotational force is applied to the drive shaft. The safety rail also includes a pair of spaced apart upper linkage arm assemblies that is operably connected to the center rail assembly and to the top rail. The upper linkage arm assemblies are operably connected to corresponding lower linkage assemblies and are configured to move the upper rail relative to the center rail assembly. When the rotational force is reversed, the safety rail collapses into a compact footprint.
Collapsible Guardrail
The present disclosure relates to systems and methods involving collapsible guardrails. An example system includes a top rail, a mid rail, an enclosure, and at least two posts. Each post includes an upper primary member, a lower primary member, an upper secondary member, and a lower secondary member. The upper primary member and the lower primary member are slidably coupled to at least one slot in the mid rail. The upper secondary member is rotatably coupled to the upper primary member and the lower secondary member is rotatably coupled to the lower primary member. The upper primary member is further coupled to the top rail and the lower primary member is coupled to the enclosure.
Folding guardrail
The present disclosure relates systems and methods involving movable/adjustable guardrails. An example system includes a frame weldment and a rail assembly attached to the frame weldment. The rail assembly includes a first post and a second post. The base portion of the first post is rotatably coupled to a first pivot point of the frame weldment and the base portion of the second post is rotatably coupled to a second pivot point of the frame weldment. The system also includes a top rail rotatably coupled between a top portion of the first post and a top portion of the second post. The system yet further includes an actuator configured to controllably adjust a configuration of the rail assembly between an extended configuration and a retracted configuration with respect to the frame weldment.
Flip door-to-guardrail
The present disclosure relates systems and methods involving movable/adjustable platforms and/or guardrails. An example system includes a bracket configured to be coupled to a fixed structure having a walking surface. The system also includes a flip door portion rotatably coupled to the bracket and a guardrail portion rotatably coupled to the flip door portion. The system includes a linkage further coupling the flip door portion to the guardrail portion. The system yet further includes an actuator configured to controllably adjust a configuration of the flip door portion, the linkage, and the guardrail portion between an extended configuration and a retracted configuration with respect to the walking surface.
ARRANGEMENT
An arrangement for attaching a falling post on a base structure, the post being rotatably movable between a standing and a recumbent position. The arrangement includes a stand, wherein the post is attached pivotally to the stand by a pin. The stand includes at least one groove arranged laterally in respect to the post, and the post has at least one projection extending in a lateral direction from the post. The at least one groove is arranged with respect to the at least one projection such that when the stand is in the standing position, the at least one projection lies in the at least one groove, and thereby locks the post in the standing position. The at least one projection is attached to the post such that it may move with respect to the stand in a longitudinal direction of the post.
A SAFETY GATE
A foldable safety gate apparatus for use in relation to a hoist or lift, comprising: a main safety gate body, said main safety gate body comprising: a gate frame forming an opening; and a gate, wherein the gate frame holds said gate within the opening for preventing entry into a hoist car; a cantilever platform, said cantilever platform comprising: a supporting arm for securing to a slab; and two or more load points or securing the cantilever platform to the slab; wherein, when in a deployed state, the main safety gate body is substantially perpendicular to the cantilever platform, and, when in a collapsed state, the main safety gate body rests substantially parallel to the cantilever platform.
