COLLAPSIBLE UTILITY SCAFFOLD
A utility scaffold is designed to be repeatedly broken down into straighter components to reduce the space requirement for storage and shipment. The scaffold has first and second ladder frames, each comprising a plurality of vertical supports, a plurality of horizontal supports, and a plurality of releasable connections. The horizontal supports are releasably connected to the vertical supports by the releasable connections to form a rigid ladder frame structure. The releasable connections include a male wedge protrusion and a female receiver configured to receive the male wedge protrusion. The female receiver has a passage therethrough, with the passage having a tapered interior surface. The male wedge protrusion and the tapered interior surface are configured to abut when the vertical support and the horizontal support are mounted together via the releasable connection. A fastener is optionally used to secure the releasable connection.
HANDRAIL, SCAFFOLD, METHOD OF ERECTING A SCAFFOLD AND USE OF A HANDRAIL IN A SCAFFOLD
A guardrail for a scaffold, which has at least at one end a coupling section for coupling with a coupling element of a vertical post or vertical frame of the scaffold, wherein the coupling section is flat and is penetrated by an elongate opening which extends parallel to a longitudinal axis of the railing member and which has a constant width as far as an extension at the end.
A scaffold comprising a guardrail, a method for erecting a scaffold and a use of a guardrail.
Coupling system
A coupling system (10) for coupling together elongate members (6) is described. The coupling system (10) comprises a mounting member (1) having a mounting surface (8). A first locating member (2) is mounted on the mounting member (1) and a second locating member (2) is adapted to be mounted on the mounting member (1), in use. A number of support members (3) are provided and each support member (3) comprises two locating member engagement formations (31, 32), a mounting member engagement surface (27) and a first elongate member support formation (28). The engagement surface (27) of a support member (3) is adapted to be engaged with the mounting surface (8) of the mounting member (1) and one locating member engagement formation (31, 32) is adapted to be engaged with each locating member (2) to mount the support member (3) on the mounting member (1).
Ladder cage latching members and methods of use
A rapid release and rapid install latching member for use with ladder cages to couple the cage rings is provided wherein the latching members are capable of retaining the cage ring connecting members thereon without the use of external fasteners. The latching members are designed such that they may be removed from or installed on the ladder cage while the ladder cage is installed at the work site or otherwise for quick and easy repair or replacement. An exemplary ladder cage contains a plurality of ring members having a plurality of latching members interspaced around the circumference thereof, with adjacent ring members being coupled to each other through the interaction of cage ring connecting members with the latching members.
Temporary Scaffolding Rest
The invention relates to a temporary scaffolding rest which temporarily supports a standby scaffolding component upon a scaffolding upright in a first temporary disconnected position which is laterally offset from the scaffolding upright for subsequent installation of said standby scaffolding component to a portion of said upright in a second installed position which is laterally inset from the first temporary disconnected position. The temporary scaffolding rest includes a temporary connector for temporarily connecting the temporary scaffolding rest to said portion of said scaffolding upright, and an elongated rest which extends laterally from the temporary connector in order to temporarily support a portion of said standby scaffolding adjacent said portion of said scaffolding upright in said first temporary disconnected laterally offset position ready for subsequent installation to said portion of said scaffolding upright in said second installed position. A method of erecting a row of scaffolding which is higher than the row of scaffolding upon which an installer is positioned is also provided.
PRECEDING GUARD RAIL HOLDER FOR A SCAFFOLDING SYSTEM
Preceding guardrail holder for a scaffolding system, configured for cooperation with guardrails provided with a fastening hook at a longitudinal end. The preceding guardrail holder includes a first and a second cross connection element extending perpendicular to a mounting plate and a retaining plate, which cross connection elements are mutually spaced apart and together bound a fastening hook receiving space for receiving in the fastening hook receiving space the fastening hook of a first guardrail. The distance between the first and the second cross connection element is such that, if the fastening hook is received in the fastening hook receiving space and the first guardrail is not supported otherwise, a recess on a radial inner side of the fastening hook rests on the first cross connection element, and a radial outer side of the fastening hook abuts against the second cross connection element, the first guardrail thereby being wholly supported by the single preceding guardrail holder.
Anchoring system for formwork struts
Anchoring system for formwork struts comprising a male element with a seat for joining the head of a strut and at least one pin, the seat and the pin being configured so that when in use, the pin is perpendicular to the plane containing the two struts to be anchored together, the pin having a protuberance at the end, as well as a female element comprising a bar with a flat surface, said flat surface comprising a slot perpendicular to the longitudinal dimension of the bar, with a width smaller than that of the protuberance and at least one portion with a width larger than that of the pin, comprising an opening for the introduction of the pin in the slot in a position, such that when in use, the opening is located in a position lower than the slot and the pin is fastened in an upper area of the slot.
SCAFFOLDING SYSTEMS
The present application provides an effective cooperation of scaffold planks and ledger members of a scaffold system to provide a work platform that is adaptable to different requirements and configurations. In one embodiment a rail portion of a scaffold plank is received in an upwardly opening U-shaped cavity of a ledger. In this way a portion of the work surface over laps with the ledger.
Modular Platform System Components and Tools
A support member and bracket for a modular decking system, wherein the support member includes at least one securing location at which the bracket is securable to the support member, and the bracket includes: one or more hooks configured to be received by one or more hook apertures of the securing location; and a pair of side walls and a further wall defining a tapering slot for receipt of a fin of a decking member or beam.
Heavy Duty Transom for Structural Support Systems
