An enclosure for a genset comprises a container defining an internal volume for housing the genset. The container comprises a container floor, a container roof, a pair of container sidewalls disposed parallel to a longitudinal axis of the container, and a pair of container endwalls disposed at longitudinal ends of the container. A side cap is positioned parallel to each of the pair of container sidewalls along a longitudinal length of the container, each of the side caps sealed to edges of the corresponding container sidewall so as to define an acoustic cavity therebetween.

The present anti-ballistic shelter is a reinforced unit configured to comply with both ISO standards for size and weight, and with the U.S. Department of State Certification Standard for Forced Entry and Ballistic Resistance of Structural Systems. Each end and side wall of the unit is reinforced with wall studs that penetrate the unit's structural framework. Even though these wail studs are welded into place, penetration of the wall studs into the framework ensures acceptable blast, ballistic, and forced entry resistance even if the welds are flawed.

The modular anti-ballistic shelter system includes two end units and, optionally, additional middle units for a wider structure. End and middle units may also stack atop each other for multi-story structures. Each exterior wall of each end unit and each middle unit is reinforced with wall studs that penetrate the unit's structural framework of beams and frames. A modular building structure that utilizes a standard, unmodified intermodal shipping container both for transport of the structural components and as an integral element of the method of construction. A modular structure kit is enclosed in the shipping container, which can be transported using all means that are standard for ISO containers. Using the preferred method of construction, the shipping container can be situated without heavy equipment. Once situated, the shipping container provides the primary support for a permanent elevated structure composed of unique components, assembled using conventional building techniques without the necessary use of heavy or specialized equipment.

A training apparatus for fast-rope training includes a platform-supporting structure having one or more containers and at least one platform configured for use in fast-rope training. At least one attachment is provided for attaching a fast-rope. The platform-supporting structure is supportable by a surface. The at least one attachment is located higher than the platform and spaced laterally from the platform-supporting structure such that the at least one attachment overhangs the surface so a fast rope can hang from the at least one attachment, past the platform and toward the surface.

A movie theater auditorium is disclosed with reclining or reclined seats, whereby patrons are viewing a screen that is elevated and tilted toward the viewing audience. Comparative to traditional movie theaters with vertical screens with fixed or reclining chairs, exemplary embodiments provide a more natural viewing angle and line of sight for the viewing audience. Some embodiments are disclosed which employ repurposed shipping containers as structural elements of a cinema.

A portable building formed from transportation containers that are unloaded and connected together to form modular building units. The building units have roof parts that unfold to connect to one another, to form a building, with openings, and with a roof, sized according to a number of modular units that have been attached together.

The housing unit may include stationary, transforming and robotic furniture within transforming space, wiring throughout to support on site and remote, internet controlled robotic furniture, lighting and security features. The housing unit may include solar panels, inverters and battery systems with AC/DC power options. A plurality of factory built housing units may be installed beside each other and/or stacked to form a multi-dwelling unit.
