Lock having a security device for an automatic storage machine and automatic storage machine
The invention relates to a lock (1) which can be actively released and locked by control technology, particularly for use in automatic storage machines having a plurality of compartments with compartment doors (2) which are to be opened individually, and to an automatic storage machine having at least one such lock (1). The lock (1) comprises a detent pawl (14), which can lock a locking element (9), which is permanently connected to a compartment door (2), in the lock such that the compartment door (2) can be held in closed position. The lock further has a first electric drive element (17) which transitions the detent pawl (14) from the locking position to a release position upon the applying of electrical power, such that the compartment door (2) can be opened. The lock (1) further comprises a security device (32), which prevents an automatic reset of the detent pawl (14) from the release position to the locking position when the lock (1) is in an unpowered state or the automatic storage machine is in an unpowered state, and an unintentional, accidental or improper locking of a compartment door can thus be avoided. In order to properly lock a compartment door, the security device (32) of the lock (1) comprises a second electric drive element, by means of which the detent pawl (14) can be transitioned back to the locking position thereof upon the applying of electrical power to said second electric drive element during closing of the compartment door (2).
DOOR ACTUATING ASSEMBLIES FOR ANIMALS
Door actuating assemblies for animals are provided herein. An apparatus includes a latch bolt covering member that is configured cover a latch bolt to prevent the latch bolt from engaging with a strike plate aperture in a door frame of the door, and a door knob that is attachable to a lower portion of the door for use by a pet.
MULTI-POINT LOCKING SYSTEM
Fenestration systems and associated methods include use of a lock assembly having a housing, a cam gear, a reversal gear, and one or more catches. Various aspects relate to enhanced locking/security, including repeatability and overall efficacy.
Combination sash lock and tilt latch and slidable window vent stop
A sash window fastener includes: a latch assembly; a lock assembly mounted upon the meeting rail; and a stop assembly mounted to the master frame. The lock assembly includes a pivotable cam to engage a keeper on the master frame to lock the window, and a pivotable follower arm, which interconnects with the latch assembly within the meeting rail, so cam rotation that drives arm rotation also causes translation of the latch. The cam occupies: an extended position to secure the cam to the keeper, with the latch tongue engaging the master frame to prevent tilting, also being positioned below a stop assembly protrusion to redundantly lock the window; a first retracted position permitting sliding of the window; and a second retracted position permitting tilting of the sash window. A slidable stop on the stop assembly dampens sliding sash window movement and subsequently acts as a vent stop.
Multi-point locking system
Fenestration systems and associated methods include use of a lock assembly having a housing, a cam gear, a reversal gear, and one or more catches. Various aspects relate to enhanced locking/security, including repeatability and overall efficacy.
COMBINATION WALL PROTECTOR AND DOOR CATCH
An apparatus including a wall plate, a retaining strap, and a storage groove. The wall plate is attachable to a wall and includes a door facing surface. The door facing surface is configured to stop a door knob extending from a door. The retaining strap is coupled with the wall plate and forms a loop. The loop extends from the wall plate and engages the door knob. The storage groove is disposed between a perimeter of the wall plate and the wall. The storage groove is configured to receive the retaining strap.
Motor vehicle door locking system
The invention relates to a motor vehicle door locking system, comprising a motor vehicle door lock (1) on a motor vehicle door (2) and a lock retainer (3), interacting therewith, on a motor vehicle body (4), or vice versa, according to patent application DE 10 2014 007 119.7, characterized in that a hold-back element (5) is provided which keeps clear an inlet opening (6) for the lock retainer (3) in the motor vehicle door lock (1) even in the event of deformations of the motor vehicle door (2) caused by an accident, wherein the hold-back element (5) keeps the opening clear on account of a shaping of the hold-back element.
Cockpit internal anti sabotage system (CIASS)
A cockpit internal anti-sabotage system (CIASS) without compromising the cockpit security and the present anti-hijacking procedure and protocol, wherein a single cockpit crew alone in the cockpit cannot deny bonafide entry of other cockpit crew or cabin crew in an attempt to commit suicide or sabotage the aircraft, the system comprises a manual door lock system and an automated door lock system wherein both the systems comprising a mechanical system or a non-mechanical system or combination of both.
Door lock with door switch
A door lock for a household electrical appliance has an electric door switch with two contact elements, a pusher and a pusher control element. The pusher presses against a first contact element that holds the door switch in one of the two switching states. When the pusher is displaced from a first pusher position to a second pusher position, the door switch transfers into the other of the two switching states. The pusher control element, which is movable relative to the pusher, moves from one of the two control positions to the other on closing of the door. The pusher control element has a control path where a first path section blocks the pusher against displacement from the first pusher position to the second pusher position and a second path section provides the pusher with space for a displacement from the first pusher position to the second pusher position.
Method for an emergency opening of a door locking device of a laundry washing and/or drying appliance
A method is provided for an emergency opening of a door locking device (1) of a door (4) of a laundry washing and/or drying appliance (100). The method includes, inserting a tool (40; 50) in the cabinet (3) of the appliance until the tool (40; 50) interacts with a safety member (53) moving the latter into a retracted position; operating a moveable handle (5) of the door and keeping it operated in such a way as to try to move a hook member (21) to an opening position, so that the hook member does not prevent a retaining member (54) from moving towards a rest position; removing the interaction between the tool (40; 50) and the safety member (53); and removing the hook member (21) from the opening (22).
