ACCESS OPENING CLOSURE DEVICE
An access opening closure device is provided for enabling passage of food or medication into a confined space without providing direct access from within the confined space to outside of the confined space. The device includes a housing assembly including a body and a cover, and a slide assembly including an access door and a frame. The body defines a receptacle and first and second openings. The housing assembly is pivotally coupled to the slide assembly and is movable from an operative position to a stowed, non-operative position.
Door plate system, kit, and method
A door plate has a main body with a front side, a rear side, a top side, a bottom side, a first adjacent side, and a second adjacent side. The main body includes a handle aperture and fastener apertures. The handle aperture is configured to receive a door handle of the door. The handle aperture is formed through the main body from the front side to the rear side of the main body. Each of the plurality of fasteners is formed through the main body from the front side to the rear side. The main body has a depth defined by a maximum distance between the front side and the rear side of the main body at the second adjacent side of the main body. The depth of the main body militates against a prying of the door with a crowbar where the main body is installed on the door.
Door latch
A sliding door handle and strike assembly includes a locking member for engaging the strike to prevent the door from opening. The locking member is biased to an unlocked position, until it is moved into a locking position, in which magnetic co-operation acts to hold the locking member in the locking position.
Door lock assembly and methods of use thereof
A door lock assembly for a door hinged to a door frame, having primarily a two-part lock assembly, including a linear pin or bolt having a first pin end and a second pin end, the second pin end formed with a handle attached and a magnet positioned therearound the second pin end and proximate a junction between the handle and the second pin end and a mounting plate having a first plate end and a second plate end, the plate ends having a one or more mounting holes, the mounting plate having a base or humped body positioned between first plate end and a second plate end, the humped body having a locking aperture positioned crosswise there through the humped body to receive first pin end.
Automatic Handcuff with Floating Stop Pawl
The proposed handcuff in the invention employs an innovative locking mechanism, which stops further tightening of the handcuff when the force applied on the wrist of hand or ankle of foot is greater than 1.5 lbs (or any preset value), and prevents physical injuries from over-tightening without compromising the restrain. A notch on the first tooth of the left/right stop pawl prevent the handcuff from being shimmed, a floating pawl keeps the middle stop pawl sticking with the stop ratchet when it moves 2-5 mm sideways. The handcuff is 50% faster in restraining by automatically locking instead of manually push-to-locking. The handcuff has the same shape/size/cost of the handcuffs currently used by police officer, and is compatible with current training procedure or SOP.
Door latch protector system and spacer
A door latch protector system for protecting a latch of a door. An exemplary embodiment includes a latch protector plate including a door overlapping portion and a frame overlapping portion, the door overlapping portion having a first planar surface configured to contact the exterior door surface in an installed configuration. At least one spacer plate is configured to be positioned between the door overlapping portion and a surface of the door. The spacer plate includes opposed first and second planar spacer surfaces, the first planar surface configured to contact the first planar surface of the latch protector plate in the installed configuration. The spacer plate has an external peripheral profile matching a corresponding external profile of the door overlapping portion of the latch protector plate to eliminate gaps between the corresponding external profile of the door overlapping portion which would allow the introduction of burglary tools.
ANTI-THEFT DEVICE FOR DOOR LOCKS
The anti-theft device is configured in a door lock, and contains a first blocking piece, a second blocking device, a positioning piece, and a lever. The first blocking piece contains a first section and a second section bended and extended perpendicularly from the first section. The first section has a first through hole and a second through hole. The lever is engaged by a lock heart of the door lock. When the door lock is locked, the lock heart is turned to engage the lever so that the lever drives the first blocking piece downward by its first through hole. The second section of the first blocking piece as such blocks a lock tongue of the door lock so that the door lock cannot be opened without using key.
BOLT MODULE
A bolt module is disclosed. The bolt module comprises: a bolt moveable between a thrown position and a retracted position; an anti-thrust member moveable between a release position in which the bolt can be retracted and a plurality of blocking positions obstructing driving back of the bolt under action of an external force on the bolt and, a first rotor assembly capable of accepting a drive element, the first rotor assembly arranged to drive the bolt and to move the anti-thrust member between the plurality of blocking positions and the release position. Each of the plurality of blocking positions may respectively limit to different extents the driving back of the bolt under action of an external force on the bolt. There is also disclosed a leaf or door comprising the bolt module, wherein the bolt module is mounted on the leaf or door for securing the leaf or door.
Attack-resistant and weather-resistant lock
A lock can include attack-resistant and/or weather-resistant features. Attack-resistant features can include a sacrificial link between a locking mechanism and an external keyway covering an exterior face of the locking mechanism. The sacrificial link can break during a torque attack on the lock such that the full force of the torque attack is not applied to the locking mechanism. Weather-resistant features can include drain openings in one or more housing components external to the locking mechanism to facilitate drainage of liquid matter from the lock before the liquid matter reaches the locking mechanism.
Electrified mortise lock for sliding door
Electrified mortise lock for sliding door is a mortise lock for a sliding door. Electrified mortise lock for sliding door is electrified wherein an electric motor is used to latch and unlatch the mortise lock and lock and unlock the mortise lock. Electrified mortise lock for sliding door includes multiple types of door locks including sliding door locks that meet the ANSI and BHMA standards for a privacy, entry, office, and classroom door lock. Electrified mortise lock for sliding door mounts within a mortise pocket of a sliding door. Electrified mortise lock for sliding door can automatically latch when the sliding door in closed and automatically unlatch when the sliding door is opened. Electrified mortise lock for sliding door can also automatically lock when the sliding door in closed and automatically unlock when the sliding door is opened. Electrified mortise lock for sliding door receives power from a power unit located: in the upper door jamb or in the strike plate in the door jamb.
