Automatic locking-deadbolt assembly in a door

A lock assembly for a door includes a lock body having a housing with at least one deadbolt supported in the housing for movement between a retracted position and an extended position and biased toward the extended position by a spring, and a trigger mechanism mounted on the door separate from the lock body for engagement with a door jamb upon closure of the door, said trigger mechanism being adapted to hold the at least one deadbolt in the retracted position when the door is open in opposition to a spring bias, and to permit movement of the at least one deadbolt to the extended position upon engagement of the trigger mechanism with the door jamb.

Work site storage lock system

A tool chest may include a base portion, two opposing sidewalls, a drawer portion and a lid. The sidewalls extend substantially parallel to each other on opposite sides of the base portion to define a tool repository between the sidewalls. The lid has a closed position covering a top of the tool chest, and an open position in which access is provided to the tool repository. The drawer portion is slidable to at least partially remove the drawer portion from the base portion. The drawer portion is automatically locked by closing the lid via a locking assembly that is operable configured to automatically unlock with the lid is open unless the locking assembly is retained in a locked position.

A lock, in particular for an electric bicycle, includes a locking mechanism that has a latch that is movable between a latched position, which is provided for securing a counter-piece movable relative to the locking mechanism, and an unlatched position provided for releasing the counter-piece. The lock includes a blocking device, including a blocking element that is adjustable between a blocking position, in which the latch is blocked in its latched position, and a release position in which the latch is movable into its unlatched position, and a reception unit for receiving a release signal by which the adjustment of the blocking element into the release position can be brought about. A locking system may include at least one such lock.

Door lock for a domestic electrical appliance

A door lock for a domestic electrical appliance includes a locking member which is electrically switchable between an unlocking position and a locking position, which locking member in the unlocking position allows a closed door of the domestic appliance to be opened and in the locking position is in blocking engagement with a blockable component at least when the door is closed, and an auxiliary member, separate from the blockable component, which is movable in dependence on the closing of the door from a release position into a blocking position. The blocking engagement effects blocking of the closed door against opening. In the release position, the auxiliary member allows the locking member to be transferred from the unlocking position into the locking position; in contrast, in its blocking position, the auxiliary member blocks the locking member against being transferred from the unlocking position into the locking position.

The lock according to the invention is meant for locking cabinets, vaults and different machines. The lock has a lock frame, which comprises a bolt. A lock cylinder has been arranged in connection with the lock frame. The lock frame further comprises a power transmission mechanism between the lock cylinder and the bolt. The power transmission mechanism comprises a transmission lever and a latch. The transmission lever additionally comprises a retaining protrusion. The bolt comprises a locking pin and the lock frame additionally comprises a hole for the locking pin. The lock is arranged to allow movement of the lock cylinder and the power transmission mechanism in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the lock cylinder due to an external hit or drilling of the lock cylinder, whereby the movement in the direction of the longitudinal axis moves the retaining protrusion away from the locking pin. Thus, the end of the locking pin moves into the hole in the frame.

ROTARY LATCH SYSTEM

A latch includes a base having a bore extending therethrough defining an axis, a plunger positioned within the bore and rotatable about the axis, a drive shaft positioned adjacent the base and engaged with the plunger such that rotation of the plunger about the axis causes corresponding rotation of the drive shaft about the axis, a bracket positioned adjacent the base and the drive shaft and engaged with the drive shaft such that rotation of the drive shaft about the axis causes movement of the bracket, and a closure element coupled to the bracket such that movement of the bracket causes the closure element to move between a position wherein the closure element allows a structure to move with respect to an adjacent structure and a position in which the closure element prevents the structure from moving with respect to the adjacent structure.

ANTI-THEFT DEVICE FOR DOOR LOCKS

The anti-theft device is configured in a door lock, and contains a first blocking piece, a second blocking device, a positioning piece, and a lever. The first blocking piece contains a first section and a second section bended and extended perpendicularly from the first section. The first section has a first through hole and a second through hole. The lever is engaged by a lock heart of the door lock. When the door lock is locked, the lock heart is turned to engage the lever so that the lever drives the first blocking piece downward by its first through hole. The second section of the first blocking piece as such blocks a lock tongue of the door lock so that the door lock cannot be opened without using key.

LOCKING DEVICE FOR CONTAINER

The present invention generally relates to locking devices for waste containers, particularly residential or commercial waste containers. The present invention also relates to a waste container having a locking device which keeps the container closed when a sudden jerking or jarring, such as ground impact, is applied on the container, but allows the container to be opened during the dumping or tipping process. The locking device contains an impact detecting paddle or rolling member to provide a mechanical impact sensor that can detect whether the container has been unintendedly tipped over in the forward direction or whether it is being tipped over, such as for dumping.

A gravity-actuated latch mechanism is provided. The gravity-actuated latch mechanism may include a strike attached to a lid of a container and a latch body attached to an inside wall of the container. The latch body includes a housing and a catch accessible from outside of the housing, wherein the catch engages and disengages with the strike. The latch body includes a lever having a lever arm moveable between an engaged and disengaged position. The engaged position is engaged with the catch and the disengaged position is disengaged with the catch. The latch body also includes a latch actuation ball housed in an elongated passage within the housing. The lever arm of the lever extends into the elongate passage, allowing the latch actuation ball to apply force to the lever arm to move the lever from the engaged to the disengaged position in response to tipping the container for dumping.
