SMART-LOCK SYSTEM AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SMART-LOCK SYSTEM
A smart-lock system and a method of operating the system is disclosed. The system comprises a smart-lock on a door of a room. The door comprises a first and a second side. The first side of the door lies on the interior side of the room and the second side of the door lies on the exterior side of the room. At least one sensor is disposed on the first side of the door to detect the presence of any user on the interior side of the room and at least one sensor is disposed on the second side of the door to detect the presence of any user at the exterior side of the room. The smart-lock is configured to lock the room when the room is occupied.
Bicycle Locking Device
A bicycle locking device for securing a bicycle to a stationary object includes a housing, which defines an interior space. A cable is positioned in the interior space and has a first terminus, which is engaged to the housing. The cable is selectively extensible through a hole positioned in the housing. The cable is insertable through at least one element of an item, such as bicycle, and around a stationary object, so that a second terminus of the cable reaches the housing. A locking unit is engaged to the housing and selectively engages the second terminus the cable to secure the item to the stationary object. A biometric authenticator is engaged to the housing and is operationally engaged to the locking unit. The biometric authenticator authenticates a physiological characteristic of a user, positioning the biometric authenticator to signal the locking unit to release the cable.
Safe container for grooming products
A safe container comprises a first receptacle configured to receive a grooming product and a biometric lock configured to selectively open the first receptacle to a designated user. The grooming product may include a shaver and/or razor blade cartridges. The biometric lock may include a fingerprint reader.
SMART DOOR LOCK
A smart door lock may include latch mechanism for locking and unlocking doors; authorization module for authorizing or de-authorizing authority of mechanical key for opening latch mechanism; the mechanical key for inserting into the latch mechanism for unlocking after authorized by the authorization module. Thanks to the structure of smart door lock, there is no need to carry the mechanical key all the time.
SAFE WITH BIOMETRIC LOCK MECHANISM
A safe for the storage of a valuable, such as a firearm. The safe has an imaging system that is used to scan a portion of a human in the near infrared spectrum to image blood vessels and determine if the image matches a stored image and thereafter effect unlocking of the safe. A manual override lock system is provided to manually effect unlocking of the safe.
Purse with security and safety features
Disclosed is a bag or purse for containing valuables. The bag or purse includes a rigid endoskeleton, an exterior covering disposed over the rigid endoskeleton, a lock assembly coupled to the endoskeleton, a biometric sensor and a microcontroller. The lock assembly prevents access to the interior space when the lock assembly is in a locked state. The lock assembly includes a handle and an actuator. The actuator is arranged within the lock assembly to selectively allow the lock assembly to unlock from a locked state. The microcontroller is programmed to determine whether an input provided to the biometric sensor corresponds with an authorized user and, if affirmative, activate the actuator to allow the lock assembly to achieve the unlocked state, and if negative, to not allow the lock assembly to achieve the unlocked state. A quick release cross body shoulder strap and GPS tracking feature can also be provided.
DOOR LOCK WITH AUTHENTICATION MODULE
A system for a door includes a door lock having a handle assembly and a lock. The lock is movable between an engaged position and a disengaged position. An authentication module is mounted to the door lock at a position offset from a surface of the door. The authentication module is operably coupled to the lock.
JAR WITH BIOMETRIC LOCK
A locking jar includes a biometric sensor on a lid of the jar electronically connected to a lock assembly, housed within the lid and at least one deadbolt, for movement between an extended position and a retracted position, connected to the lock assembly. The extended position of the deadbolt protrudes from the lid and into a cove underneath a lip of the jar. The deadbolt retracts from the extended position to the retracted position by a user activating the biometric sensor with a fingerprint.
Safe and lock detection system
Systems and methods to indicate whether a safe is locked or unlocked.
Lock system with multifactor authentication
A security system with multifactor authentication, and may comprise a lock assembly configured to secure an object and having a secured condition and an unsecured condition, a lock actuating element for actuating the lock assembly between the secured and unsecured conditions, a first authentication structure configured to permit actuation of the lock assembly by the lock actuating element when authenticated by the first authenticating structure, and a second authentication structure configured to permit actuation of the lock assembly by the lock actuating element when authenticated by the second authentication structure, so that authentication by the first authentication structure and the second authentication structure is required to actuate the lock assembly.
