A multi-key lock core includes a housing, a driving cylinder, a plurality of circular lock plates, and a lock rod. The driving cylinder is disposed in the housing, a sidewall of the driving cylinder is provided with a penetration portion, and the driving cylinder is rotatable to the penetration portion to correspond to an engagement recessed portion. The circular lock plates are disposed in the driving cylinder and each include an outer edge provided with a first recessed portion, and the outer edge of at least one of the circular lock plates is further provided with a second recessed portion. The lock rod is disposed in the penetration portion, and may partially enter the engagement recessed portion to restrict rotation of the driving cylinder. A first key may push the circular lock plates to rotate to the first recessed portion to correspond to the penetration portion, so that the lock rod can move to partially enter the first recessed portion and detach from the engagement recessed portion. The second key may push the circular lock plates to rotate to the second recessed portion and the first recessed portion to correspond to the penetration portion, so that the lock rod can move to partially enter the second recessed portion and the first recessed portion and detach from the engagement recessed portion.

A method for mutually controlling and unlocking a dual plug in a lock, comprising: unlocking a code of a first plug first, the first plug restricting unlocking of a second plug, the second plug restricting rotating of the first plug before the code of the first plug is unlocked; after unlocking the code of the first plug, the first plug translating to a second position from a first position using a preset position difference, the first plug being unable to rotate during the translation; after moving the first plug to the second position, the first plug releasing a restriction on the second plug, the second plug still restricting the rotating of the first plug; and unlocking the code of the second plug, the first plug and the second plug being able to rotate synchronously so as to unlock the lock after unlocking the code of the second plug. The present invention further relates to a lock with a dual plug.

Modular lock plug

A plug assembly including a plug, a sidebar movably mounted on the plug, and a plurality of rack pins seated in the plug. The sidebar is biased to an outer position in which the sidebar extends beyond an outer surface of the plug. Each rack pin includes a key-following leg and a sidebar-engaging leg. The sidebar-engaging leg includes at least one true gate. When a true gate of each rack pin is aligned with the sidebar, the sidebar is free to move radially inward to an inner position.

The lock includes a plug for receiving the key shank. The plug is rotatable with respect to a housing in the unlocked state of the lock and includes a keyway, which is defined by a predetermined geometry. At least one keyway shaping element is provided, which is formed separate from the plug and is fixed to the plug such that it is immovable relative to the plug when the key shank is inserted into the plug. A protruding portion of the at least one keyway shaping element protrudes into the keyway to redefine its geometry.

A cam lock for cabinets adaptable to cabinet drawers and doors of various thicknesses is disclosed. The cam lock includes a cam, a plug, an adapter, and a cylinder housing. The plug has a keyway and tumblers in communication with the keyway. The adapter is configured to couple to the cam and the plug. The cylinder housing is configured to receive the plug and the adapter. The retainer clip is configured to extend through the cylinder housing into registry with the plug after the plug and adapter are inserted into the cylinder to thereby retain both the plug and the adapter in the cylinder housing, whereby installation of the cam lock in the cabinet is simplified.

The present disclosure provides for a lock cylinder having a rotatable spindle with at least one disc and at least one wafer housing rotatingly engaged therewith. A slidable wafer is carried on the wafer housing. A locking bar is operable to prevent rotation of the lock cylinder in a locked position and permit rotation of the lock cylinder in an unlocked position.

A plurality of plate tumblers (21) are provided in the cylinder core, wherein each of the plurality of plate tumblers is movable between a locking position and an unlocking position. At least one of the plurality of plate tumblers has a bolt-receiving depression (47). The cylinder lock further comprises at least one bolt element (27) which has a bolt tip (35), wherein the bolt element is movable between a blocking position and a release position. In the release position, the bolt tip engages in the bolt-receiving depression of the plate tumbler. The plate tumbler has, adjacent to the bolt-receiving depression, at least one bolt latch-in depression (45) in which the bolt tip of the bolt element engages in a latching manner when the at least one plate tumbler is moved out of the unlocking position, wherein the bolt latch-in depression is less deep than the bolt-receiving depression.
