LOCKING APPARATUSES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS OF PROVIDING ACCESS CONTROL
Apparatuses, systems, and methods are provided for detecting an alert status of a locking apparatus for an entry point. An external force may be received at a locking apparatus operating in a locked state and determining a first indicia corresponding to the received external force, separately receiving an indication of the external force at an accelerometer of the locking apparatus and determining a second indicia corresponding to the received indication of the external force, comparing the first indicia and the second indicia to determine an alert condition, and selectively performing at least one alert operation corresponding to the determined alert condition.
MAGNET IN BOLT
It is provided a lock assembly comprising: a striking plate assembly comprising an aperture and a magnetometer arranged in proximity of the aperture; a bolt being displaceable to enable movement through the aperture of the striking plate assembly, the bolt comprising a magnet; and a sensor device for detecting proximate presence of an object, wherein the sensor device is configured to power up the magnetometer when the sensor device detects proximate presence of an object; wherein the lock assembly is configured to detect, using the magnetometer and magnet when the bolt is in a protruded position through the aperture.
BOLT IDENTITY
It is provided a lock assembly (1) comprising: a striking plate assembly (10) comprising an aperture (12a, 12b); a first communication module (20a); and a bolt (13,14) being displaceable to enable movement through the at least one aperture (12a, 12b) of the striking plate assembly (10), the bolt (13,14) comprising a second communication module (20b); wherein the first communication module (20a) is configured to receive an identity of the bolt (13, 14) by communicating with the second communication module (20b) and wherein wireless signals from one of the first and second communication modules (20a, 20b) powers the other.
Service vehicle storage compartment door alarm system
There is disclosed a Service Vehicle storage compartment door alarm system. In an embodiment, the system comprises an alarm pin switch bracket having one or more apertures for mounting the alarm pin switch bracket to a vehicle storage compartment door latch system using existing mounting fasteners and an alarm pin switch mounted to the alarm pin switch bracket, the alarm pin switch adapted to detect movement of the vehicle storage compartment door handle to trigger an alarm signal, the alarm pin switch including a connection point for connecting a signal wire. A plurality of alarm pin switch brackets mounted to a plurality of vehicle storage compartment door latch systems may all be connected via signal wires to a central alarm system for activating an alarm upon detection of movement of any one of the vehicle storage compartment door handles.
Electronic door lock with a monitoring unit
An electronic door lock includes a dead bolt moved by a deadbolt transmitting assembly, a spring-loaded latch bolt moved by a latchbolt transmitting assembly, a lock core rotated by a core transmitting assembly, and a spring-loaded prying resisting member. A monitoring unit includes sensors respectively corresponsive to those assemblies and the prying resisting member, and a security controller which performs a security procedure in accordance with position of those assemblies and the prying resisting member sensed by the sensors.
STRIKING PLATE ASSEMBLY
It is provided a striking plate assembly comprising: a striking plate; and a sensor device for detecting a status of a bolt of a lock for a physical barrier, the sensor device comprising a proximity sensor and an antenna; wherein the sensor device is provided such that its proximity sensor is provided displaced, along a longitudinal direction of the striking plate, from a through-hole through which the bolt is intended to pass. The sensor device is provided such that its antenna is directed towards a gap between the striking plate assembly and the physical barrier, when the striking plate assembly is installed.
Sensor configuration for a latch assembly
A latch assembly comprising: a latch operable to adopt a latched condition and an unlatched condition; a magnet imparting a magnetic field; a sensor adapted to sense the magnetic field; the latch, magnet and sensor being configured such that a change in the condition of the latch effects a variance in the magnetic field sensed by the sensor to distinguish between the latched condition and the unlatched condition, wherein the latch includes a latch member that is moveable relative to both the sensor and the magnet when the latch changes from the unlatched condition to the latched condition and the proximity of the latch member to the magnet changes the strength of the magnetic field sensed by the sensor.
Sensing system for verifying deadbolt engagement
A door lock detection system is disclosed. The system includes a magnet flexibly attached to a strike plate. The strike plate includes an opening. The magnet extends across the opening of the strike plate in a first orientation when a bolt does not extend into the opening of the strike plate. The magnet is configured to be deflected from the first orientation to a second orientation, distinct from the first orientation, in response to the bolt being extended into the opening of the strike plate. The system includes a magnetometer configured to detect one or more magnetic fields of the magnet that is flexibly attached to the strike plate in the first orientation and in the second orientation.
