LOCKABLE CABINET SYSTEM AND LOCKING ASSEMBLY THEREFOR
20230011232 · 2023-01-12 ·

In a locking assembly for a lockable cabinet system, a base supports an electronic lock for locking and unlocking the cabinet. The electronic lock may be releasably attachable to the base at a plurality of spaced apart positions. A one-piece release bar can be connected to an override toggle of the electronic lock. First and second electronic lock override devices may be connected to the release bar for independently overriding electronic actuation of the lock. The electronic lock may be supported on the base such that the electronic lock is separated from the wall of the cavity or the base by a gap. An externally adjustable cam lock can be provided to selectively override the electronic lock. Such cam lock can further inhibit removal of a cover of the locking assembly when locked and allow removal of the cover when unlocked, thereby providing tamper-resistance.

Carrying trays and methods for transporting and installing latching assemblies on cowlings for marine drives

A carrying tray facilitates installation of a latching assembly on a cowl of a marine drive. The carrying tray comprises a plurality of latching device cavities configured to retain a plurality of latching devices in a spaced-apart orientation that positions each respective latching device with respect to its mounting position on the cowl so that the respective latching device can be directly installed onto the cowl without tangling or damaging the flexible connectors, and an actuator retainer that retains an actuator in a position with respect to its mounting position on the cowl so that the actuator can be directly installed onto the cowl without tangling or damaging the flexible connectors.

EXIT DEVICE WITH REMOTE TRIM INPUT

An exemplary closure assembly includes a swinging barrier, a pushbar assembly mounted to a first side of the barrier, a remote trim assembly mounted to a second side of the barrier, and a transmission assembly that extends at least partially through the barrier and couples remote trim assembly and the pushbar assembly. The pushbar assembly includes a latchbolt and a pushbar operable to retract the latchbolt. The remote trim includes a handle that is operably coupled with the latchbolt via the transmission assembly such that the handle is operable to retract the latchbolt. The handle is positioned above the pushbar such that a vertical offset distance is defined therebetween. The offset distance is selected such that a user having a height within a selected range of heights is able to actuate the pushbar assembly, but cannot actuate the trim assembly.

Actuation cable device

An actuation cable device includes a left hood lock cable having an end connected to a left hood lock device; a right hood lock cable having an end connected to a right hood lock device; an opener cable having an end connected to a hood opener; and a link device including a rotatable link member to which second ends of the above-described cables are connected. The left hood lock cable and the right hood lock cable are respectively connected to an upper portion and a lower portion of the link member in a manner so that they extend from the link member toward opposite sides to each other. The opener cable is connected to the upper portion in a manner so that it extends from the link member toward an opposite side to the side toward which the left hood lock cable extends.

Link mechanism for vehicle door and vehicle door opening and closing apparatus having the same

A link mechanism for a vehicle door is provided. The link mechanism includes a body having a first end portion facing a vehicle body and a second end portion facing a vehicle door and a first mounting member that is mounted on the vehicle body, and rotatably connected to the first end portion of the body through a first shaft. A second mounting member is mounted on the vehicle door, and is rotatably connected to the second end portion of the body through a second shaft. A rotation restricting unit selectively restricts a rotation of the second mounting member.

Exit device assembly

An exit device assembly for use in association with a door having a top, a bottom and a generally vertical surface. The exit door assembly includes an exit device configured to be mounted on the surface of the door, the exit device including a manually movable member, a latch mechanism configured to be mounted adjacent one of the top and the bottom of the door, the latch mechanism including a latch movable between a locking position and a non-locking position, and a non-rigid device for causing movement of the latch in response to movement of the manually movable member.

Locking system with multiple latches

A locking system provides multiple lockable latching mechanisms that are collectively operable and lockable from a central actuation mechanism. Each latching mechanism can be positioned and actuated independent of the positioning of others of the latching mechanisms. In particular, the latching mechanisms need not be aligned with one another. The system uses flexible connectors between the central actuation mechanism and the respective latching mechanisms. The flexible connectors can have different respective lengths.

REMOTE SAFETY RELEASE FOR SAFETY SWITCHES AND SAFETY SWITCH COMPRISING THE RELEASE

A remote safety release comprises an actuator (13) adapted to move between a inoperative position wherein it does not interact with the locking mechanism of a switch and at least one operative position wherein it interacts with the locking mechanism, a remote control device (14) adapted to promote the movement of the actuator from the inoperative position to an operative position, a transfer mechanism (15) adapted to transfer a force from the remote control device (14) to the actuator (13) following the command given by the operator to promote the movement of the actuator (13) and adapted to exert a first solicitation on the actuator (13) to promote its automatic passage from the inoperative position to an operative position, while the remote control device (14) constantly exerts on the actuator (13) a second contrast solicitation opposite to the first solicitation and having at least equal value.

LOCK ARRANGED ON SUITCASE CAPABLE OF BEING OPENED OR CLOSED WITHOUT USING ZIPPER, AND TRAVEL SUITCASE

This invention discloses a lock that set on a suitcase of being opened or closed without using a zipper, which including an operating component and a locking component that are separately-mounted; the operating component is set on a non-border position of the suitcase, and the locking component is set on the border of the suitcase, wherein the locking component comprises at least one locking unit, the force transfer between the operating component and the locking component is provided by a force transmission mechanism that connected between the operating component and the locking component; the operating component comprises an operation member, and the locking unit comprises a lock head and a lock hook, wherein driving the operation member can drive the lock head or the lock hook to move through the force transmission mechanism, to lock or unlock the lock. This invention also provides a suitcase provided with the lock as described above. This invention set the operating component and the locking component separately, which solves the problem that the lock can only be installed on the border of the suitcase, and only the locking component needs to be installed on the border of the suitcase, while the operating component can be installed at any position of the suitcase other than the border.
