DRIVE MECHANISM FOR ELECTRONIC DEADBOLT
20230125130 · 2023-04-27 · ·

An electronically-controlled manually-actuated deadbolt lock is provided. The electronically-controlled manually-actuated deadbolt lock includes an internal spring-actuated coupling mechanism that, when a user is authenticated, the coupling mechanism is placed in an engaged position that allows a deadbolt latch to be moved into a locked or unlocked position responsive to a manual rotation of a turn piece. Because the deadbolt latch is manually driven, a warped door condition can be overcome. Additionally, because the deadbolt latch is manually actuated, operation of the electronic motor may be decreased, which may increase battery life.

A latch includes a housing that has a first side and a second side. The latch includes a bolt assembly that is positioned at least partially within the housing. The bolt assembly includes a bolt movable between an extended position and a retracted position relative to at least one of the first and second sides of the housing. The bolt is biased toward at least one of the extended position and the retracted position, and the bolt is positionable so as to selectively extend from either the first side or the second of the housing in the extended position.

DETECTION AND CORRECTION OF INSUFFICIENT LOCKING BEHAVIOR OF AN ELECTRONIC LOCKSET

Methods and systems for detecting and correcting insufficient locking behavior, using an electronic lockset. One aspect is a method of deadlatching an electronic lockset, the method comprising detecting motion of a deadbolt from an unlocked position toward a locked position, determining a position of the deadbolt after the motion ceases via a sensor of the electronic lockset, determining, based on the position, whether the deadbolt has moved to the locked position, wherein in the locked position the deadbolt is placed in a deadlatched state, and transmitting an actuation command to the electronic lockset to move the deadbolt into the locked position.

The Intelligent Door Opening system consists of several devices that work together to identify approaching individuals, verify that they should be allowed access, which can be conducted by several different means. Once they have been approved the system will then grant them access by opening the door and then closing said door when the individual has entered the building. The Intelligent Door Opening system will also comprise several devices to add additional security to the primaries home, examples being a deadbolt that stops hackers from being able to control the other devices, a camera, and a secure locking system. The intelligent Door Opening system will add all the convenience of an automatic door as seen at a mall, but with the security to ensure that only people that are allowed access will be allowed to enter.

Bi-Directional Electronic Lock Device And Method For Setting Up The Same When Mounted On A Door

A bi-directional electronic lock device includes a lock mechanism and a control unit. The control unit includes a position determining component driven by the lock mechanism to rotate, a sensor configured to generate a specific sensing signal for each of three positions with respect to the position determining component, a direction determining module that actuates the lock mechanism to move from a locked state toward an unlocked state, and that generates a directional signal based on the sensing signals, and a control module that is configured to, in response to receipt of the directional signal, set the lock mechanism, based on the directional signal, to operate in one of a left setting and a right setting.

DEAD-LOCKING CONTROL MECHANISM FOR DOOR LOCK
20230147135 · 2023-05-11 ·

A dead-locking control mechanism for a door lock includes: a lock body; a fixing assembly; a rotatable spindle assembly having a first end rotatably connected with the fixing assembly and a second end in torque transmission connection with the bolt of the lock body, such that the bolt is drivable to extend beyond or retract into the fixed object; and a dead-locking control assembly including a stopping member arranged at the first end of the spindle assembly. The stopping member is movable between first and second positions relative to the spindle assembly, wherein in the first position, a first end of the stopping member is engaged with the fixing assembly and locked relative to the fixing assembly to thereby prevent the spindle assembly from rotating, and wherein in the second position, the stopping member is released from fixing assembly and thus the spindle assembly is capable of rotation freely.

A length adjustable door lock includes a latch assembly, a lock core connected with the latch assembly, a lock bolt connected with the lock core, and a housing sleeved on the lock bolt. The latch assembly and the lock core respectively have an embedding opening and slot having matchable shape, wherein a buckling portion is formed and provided on the lock bolt coordinately, wherein the buckling portion is adapted for being assembled in the slot of the lock core through the embedding opening, which is easy for the assembling.

Smart deadlock system

A smart deadlock system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a thumb-turn, a key cylinder, a connecting shaft connecting the thumb-turn and the key cylinder, and a sensor module. The sensor module may include a sensing unit to sense a rotation state of a rotation sensing element inserted onto the connecting shaft, and generate sensing information associated with the rotation state of the rotation sensing element, and a rotation information generation unit to receive the sensing information from the sensing unit, and generate rotation information associated with an extent of rotation of the rotation sensing element based on the sensing information. According to the smart deadlock system, it is possible to check the operation of the deadlock more accurately by sensing the rotation state of the rotation sensing element using the sensor.

SMART DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY, CLUTCH CONTROL METHOD OF SMART DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY, AND SMART DOOR LOCK

A smart door lock assembly includes a lock cylinder, a lock cylinder mounting block, a driving motor, and a driving control board. A driving gear is arranged on a movable end of the driving motor. The lock cylinder passes through and is mounted in the lock cylinder mounting block. A driven gear coaxial with the lock cylinder is arranged on the lock cylinder mounting block. The driven gear is driven by the driving gear. The driving control board determines whether an external input unlocking command is right and controls the driving motor to unlock the smart door lock assembly when the external input unlocking command is right. The driving motor has a virtual position in a process of driving the driving gear.

Deadbolt indicator
