Electric strike lock
An electric strike lock is disclosed. The electric strike lock cooperates with a lock when in use. The lock has a lock tongue. The electric strike lock includes a base. The base has an opening for accommodating the lock tongue. The base has a pair of grooves corresponding to two opposite sides of the opening. Two sliding members are slidably disposed in the respective grooves. The sliding members are connected with at least one driving unit for the sliding members to slide closer to each other so that the lock tongue is engaged in the opening, or for the sliding members to gradually slide away from each other so that the lock tongue is disengaged from the opening, thereby performing locking and unlocking operations on a door in a sliding manner.
APPLIANCE WITH AN INTERIOR UNLOCKING FEATURE
An appliance includes a cabinet that defines an interior chamber. A door is mounted to the cabinet. A lock assembly is configured to selectively secure the door in a closed arrangement. The lock assembly includes a first latch arm rotatably mounted on the cabinet and a second latch arm rotatably mounted on the door. A handle is positioned within the interior chamber of the cabinet. The handle is coupled to one of the first and second latch arms such that the one of the first and second latch arms is rotatable with the handle. A motor is coupled to the other of the first and second latch arms such that the other of the first and second latch arms is rotatable with the motor.
OPPOSED OPENING AND CLOSING TYPE DOOR STRUCTURE OF VEHICLE
An opposed opening and closing type door structure of a vehicle is provided. The opposed opening and closing type door structure includes a front door and a rear door that are rotatably disposed in the vehicle to be oppositely opened and closed. A center pillar is rotatably disposed in the rear door and an active striker is disposed in the front door. A latch locked with or released from the active striker and is disposed in the center pillar. Accordingly, the weight of the vehicle and the number of parts of the vehicle is reduced and the front door and the rear door are independently opened and closed.
CONTAINER WITH IMPROVED LOCKING SYSTEM
A locking system for a storage container provides a reliable and durable means of locking the lid in the closed position with a limited number of moving parts while providing resistance to tampering and theft.
Electronic strike plate for door assembly
An apparatus for interacting with a latch of a door includes a contact component configured to make physical contact with the latch, an electrically-powered module, and a housing. The electrically-powered module is configured to move the contact component such that the contact component pushes the latch out of a bore of a door frame and into the door. The housing contains the electrically-powered module and the contact component, and is configured to fit within the bore of the door frame. The apparatus can also include a mounting plate attached to the housing, the mounting plate configured to mount the apparatus to the door frame such that the housing is disposed within the bore of the door frame.
Bin Latch System
A bin latch system. A bin latch mechanism that has been designed with weight, number of components, simplicity of operation and installation as main design drivers. The bin latch utilizes spring loaded rods that are ‘pulled’ to release the locking subassemblies. The rods lock two sets of interlocking housings in place. Due to the nature of the rod actuator, the design is binary in nature and needs both sets of interlocking housings to be secured before the interface handle can go to ‘full close’ position. Additionally, there is no rigging necessary at install. Once the assembly is in secured in place, it is ready to be operated.
Securing device with a front hood and a bayonet-type closure system
The invention relates to a securing device (1), which has a front hood (2) and a hood lock (3) with a lock holder (10), for a motor vehicle. The hood lock (3) has a rotary latch (4) with a pre-latching position and a main latching position in which the front hood (2) is closed and locked, an electric drive (5) which switches the rotary latch (4) from the main latching position into the pre-latching position, and a bayonet-type closure system (13) with a closed position, a release position, and an intermediate position. In the closed position, the rotary latch (4) is located in the main latching position; in the intermediate position, the rotary latch (4) is located in the pre-latching position and the lock holder (10) is engaged with the rotary latch (4); and in the release position, the lock holder (10) is released by the rotary latch (4) and the front hood (2) is unlocked.
Fenestration assembly operation hardware and methods for same
A fenestration hardware assembly includes a blade socket including a blade recess and an operator interface feature rotatably coupled with an operator housing. A latch blade is movably coupled with the operator housing. The latch blade is movable between deployed and withdrawn positions. In the deployed position at least a portion of the latch blade is received in the blade recess of the blade socket. In the withdrawn position the portion of the latch blade is recessed from the blade recess. The operator interface feature is rotatable between at least locked and unlocked configurations. In the locked configuration the latch blade is in the deployed position and received in the blade recess. In the unlocked configuration the latch blade is translated from the deployed position to the withdrawn position and withdrawn from the blade recess according to rotation of the operator interface feature.
RELEASABLE LOCKING MECHANISM FOR A REFRIGERATED APPLIANCE
A releasable locking mechanism for a refrigerated unit. A latch plate is movable between a position that can be engaged by a deadbolt and a position clear of the deadbolt. The latch plate is moved by a door release accessible from an interior of the refrigerated unit. When the door release is activated, a pin blocks movement of the latch plate so that the refrigerated unit remains unlocked until the pin is reset.
