ROLLING DOOR LOCK
A rolling door lock for a roll-up door, and more particularly a roll-up door that includes a latching handle assembly fitted to the exterior surface of a roll-up door. The latching handle assembly includes a handle and a hook. The rolling door lock attaches to the hook and handle of the latching handle assembly to prevent forced opening of the roll-up door. The rolling door lock includes a main body and a detachable bracket. The main body includes a hook securing portion and a pocket. The pocket includes a slot. During normal use the hook securing portion of the rolling door lock secures the hook of the latching handle assembly, and the detachable bracket secures the handle of the latching handle assembly. The lock mechanism locks the detachable bracket with the handle secured therein to the pocket.
TAMPER RESISTANT HASP
A tamper resistant hasp having: a first member extending between a first inner end and a first outer end, the first member defining a first member outer boundary and has a mounting aperture located within the first member outer boundary; a second member that has: a first portion that extends between a second inner end and a joint end, the second inner end being pivotally coupled to the first inner end, the second member pivots relative to the first member so that in a first pivot position the first portion is against the first member and covers the mounting aperture, and in a second pivot position such that the mounting aperture is uncovered; and a second portion that extends away from the first portion at the joint end to a third end and having a shackle aperture located within the second portion outer boundary.
LOCK DEVICE AND LOCKING HASPS THEREOF
A lock device includes a lock body that includes a bottom portion and a top portion. The lock body is formed, in the interior thereof, with a first accommodation zone, a second accommodation zone, a lock bore, a protective cover lid, a lock core, and a closure plate. The lock device includes a shackle that is deeply hidden inside the lock body and is thus protected from being damaged. A lock core is disposed into the lock body from the bottom portion, so that the lock core is arranged, in an upstanding manner, inside the lock body, and a keyhole of the lock core faces the top portion of the lock body to allow the keyhole to be readily found for conducting an unlocking operation. The lock core is protected by a protective cover lid from being easily destructed.
MULTI-SEGMENTED METER RING
A locking ring assembly of the type employed to prevent unauthorized access to a meter, comprising a multi-segmented meter retaining ring, to one end of which a housing is secured; the housing having a lock receiving opening and a side opening therein; a ring clip with a lock receiving opening is secured to a second end of the meter ring and enters the housing through the side opening. A cylindrical barrel lock or other locking device is received in the housing through the lock receiving openings to maintain the meter ring in a closed condition.
RETAINER MECHANISM
The present invention discloses a retainer mechanism, comprising a first engagement assembly that is configured to be actively moved to one of a hold or a release state of the first engagement assembly, and a second engagement assembly that is configured to be passively moved to one of a hold or a release state of the second engagement assembly.
STORAGE BOX LATCH SYSTEM AND SECURITY FEATURES
A latch assembly for use in a storage container is provided, and comprises a bracket having a body, a first side, and a second side, the bracket being releasably secured to the first or the second body component of the storage container. The first side includes a protruding segment. The body includes at least one slot positioned thereon, the bracket being secured to the storage container via a fastener inserted through the at least one slot. The latch assembly also includes a handle secured to the bracket. When the handle is moved in a first direction, the bracket moves from a latched position to an unlatched position where the protruding segment passes through a lock box assembly, and when the handle is moved in a second direction, the bracket moves from an unlatched position to a latched position where the lock box assembly blocks movement of the protruding segment. The latch assembly is used in conjunction with a lock system.
Security barrier for outward-swing doors of vehicles and method thereof
An apparatus for providing improved security to an outward-swing door of a vehicle. The outward-swing door is on a sidewall of a main housing of the vehicle and has a pivotal end and a distal end opposite to the pivotal end. The outward-swing door is outwardly pivotable about the pivotal end thereof. The apparatus comprises a connecting structure for coupling to a bottom wall of the main housing, a base structure for coupling to the connecting structure so as to locate adjacent the outward-swing door and outside a swing path of the outward-swing door, and a blocking structure demountably coupled to the base structure, at least a portion thereof extendable into the swing path of the outward-swing door for restricting the outward-swing door to open to a predefined maximum extent.
Panel door lockout
A lockout device is able to secure a door on a panel. The lockout device includes a housing and a flexible line. The housing has a first mounting portion adapted for securement to one side of the panel and the flexible line has on one end thereof a second mounting portion adapted for securement to another side of the panel from the first mounting portion. The housing further supports at least one line engagement element and the flexible line extends through at least a portion of the housing including the at least one line engagement element for selective engagement therewith. In use, the mounting portions may be affixed or attached to opposing sides or edges of the panel, the flexible line drawn taut, and the line engagement element(s) of the housing used to engage the flexible line to hold it in positon with respect to the housing.
ELECTROMECHANICAL LOCK ASSEMBLY
An electromechanical lock assembly (1) comprising a lock body (13), a lock core (21) located at least partially within the lock body (13) and selectively rotatable with respect to the lock body (13), the lock core (21) including a key receptacle (23), a bolt operating member rotationally secured to the lock core (21) and configured to move a lock bolt of a lock (3) for locking and unlocking said lock (3), and a programmable key (12), wherein said electromechanical lock assembly is configured to be powered upon insertion of the programmable key (12) in said key receptacle (23). A position sensing device (27) is arranged to transmit position data to said programmable key (12).
Lockout Device
A lockout system and method are provided. The lockout system prevents unauthorized and inadvertent operation of any system requiring energy isolation by locking out and tagging out the controls. The lockout system includes a housing and a twist member that allows for selective configuration of the lockout system between a release and retention configuration. In the release configuration, the lockout system is adapted to be selectively positioned within the pipe and removed from the pipe. In the retention configuration, the lockout system is semi-permanently secured to the interior of the pipe via an engagement member. The housing and the twist member each comprise an aperture sized to align and receive a lock wherein once received the twist member is cooperatively secured to the housing via the lock in a locked configuration. In the locked configuration, the lockout system is secured to the pipe and prevents access to the pipe.
