WAFER-TUMBLER CAM LOCKS FOR CABINETS
A cam lock for cabinets adaptable to cabinet drawers and doors of various thicknesses is disclosed. The cam lock includes a cam, a plug, an adapter, and a cylinder housing. The plug has a keyway and tumblers in communication with the keyway. The adapter is configured to couple to the cam and the plug. The cylinder housing is configured to receive the plug and the adapter. The retainer clip is configured to extend through the cylinder housing into registry with the plug after the plug and adapter are inserted into the cylinder to thereby retain both the plug and the adapter in the cylinder housing, whereby installation of the cam lock in the cabinet is simplified.
Lock cylinders and control keys
A system including a lock class having a plurality of lock families, with each lock family including a plurality of lock cylinders. Each of the lock families has a control pin location which is different from the control pin location of another of the lock families within the lock class. Each of the lock cylinders generally includes a shell, a plug rotatably mounted in the shell, and a control ring rotatably mounted on the plug at the control pin location of the lock family of which the lock cylinder is a member, and a control pin operable to selectively couple the plug with the control ring. Each lock family may be associated with a control key family. Each control key family may include a plurality of control keys, each of which may have a control bitting configured to urge control pins of the associated lock family to a coupling position.
CYLINDER DRY LOCK ASSEMBLY
A door assembly includes a door having opposing first and second surfaces and a hole defined in the door and extending between the first and second surfaces, a cylinder lock mounted to the second surface at the hole, and a cylinder dry lock assembly mounted to the door at the hole adjacent the first surface. The cylinder dry lock assembly including a main body that defines a central orifice, a low-friction member received within the central orifice, and an actuation mechanism extending from the low-friction member and engageable with the cylinder lock. Actuating the cylinder lock rotates the actuation mechanism, and the cylinder dry lock assembly generates a sealed interface at the hole that prevents water from migrating between the first and second surfaces at the hole.
Small format interchangeable core (SFIC) electronic cylinder and method
A lock module comprises a cylinder including a control latch configured to mechanically rotate between an extended position to prevent removal of the cylinder from a lock assembly, and a retracted position to allow removal of the cylinder from the lock assembly. A rotator is configured to enable the control latch to rotate between a locked position and an unlocked position. An actuation rod is configured to travel between a tab-blocking position maintaining the control latch in the extended position, and a retracted position allowing the control latch to retract into a retracted position. A control pin is configured to restrict the travel of the actuation rod in a control pin-blocking position in response to the rotator being rotated to a locked position and to retract from blocking the travel of the actuation rod to the control pin-unblocking position in response to the rotator being rotated to an unlocked position.
INTERCHANGEABLE CORE LOCK ASSEMBLIES
A locking device is provided including a housing, a barrel, an interchangeable core (IC), and a prong driver. The housing extending along a longitudinal axis and including a first slot. The barrel slidably disposed in a hollow interior of the housing, where the barrel is slidable along the longitudinal axis. The barrel including a second slot and a hollow interior to retain the IC. The IC including a key hole and coupled to the prong driver. The prong driver including an engaging element extending from the prong driver perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis into the first slot and the second slot. When a proper key is inserted into the key hole and rotated, the engaging element is rotated within the first and second slots to allow the barrel to slide along the longitudinal axis to lock and unlock the locking device.
Key cylinder device
A key cylinder device includes a key cylinder attached inside a cylinder portion of a cylindrical mounting member and locked/unlocked by a mechanical key, and a packing insertion portion that is integrally formed on an outer surface of the key cylinder so as to have a shape without an undercut portion and includes an opening for insertion of a packing member in a vertical direction along the outer surface.
Double bitted-reversible key plug lock
A lock has a locked condition and an unlocked condition comprising a barrel with a circular bore having three splines. A cylindrical plug is adapted to reside in the bore. First, second and retaining tumblers are positioned in tumbler slots, with the first and retaining tumblers biased in one direction toward the first spline and the second tumbler biased in the opposite direction into the second spline. When a first key is inserted, the first and second tumblers are moved against the bias so they retract from the respective splines and the plug can be rotated from the locked and unlocked conditions. When a second key is inserted while in the unlocked condition, the first, second and retaining tumblers are moved so the respective tumblers are either positioned in the third longitudinal spline or fully retained in the plug and the plug can be retracted axially from the barrel.
Electro-mechanical lock core
An interchangeable electro-mechanical lock core for use with a lock device having a locked state and an unlocked state is disclosed. The interchangeable electro-mechanical lock core may include a moveable plug having a first position relative to a lock core body which corresponds to the lock device being in the locked state and a second position relative to a lock core body which corresponds to the lock device being in the unlocked state. The interchangeable electro-mechanical lock core may include a core keeper moveably coupled to a lock core body. The core keeper may be positionable in a retain position wherein the core keeper extends beyond an envelope of lock core body to hold the lock core body in an opening of the lock device and a remove position wherein the core keeper is retracted relative to retain position to permit removal.
ELECTRO-MECHANICAL LOCK CORE WITH A CAM MEMBER TAILPIECE
A removable lock core for use with a lock device having a locked state and an unlocked state is disclosed. The removeable lock core may include a cam member tailpiece which is moveable between a first position relative to a lock core body which corresponds to the lock device being in the locked state and a second position relative to a lock core body which permits removal of the removeable lock core from the lock device which corresponds to the lock device being in the unlocked state. The removeable lock core may include an electro-mechanical drive assembly which in a disengaged state is decoupled from the cam member tailpiece and in an engaged state is coupled to the cam member tailpiece. A cam lock having a locked state and an unlocked state for use with a catch is disclosed.
CYLINDER LOCK
A cylinder lock comprises a lock cylinder; a holder for receiving the lock cylinder; and a securing element, wherein the lock cylinder comprises a cylinder housing and a cylinder core that is rotatable about a cylinder axis in the cylinder housing and that has a keyway, wherein the securing element is axially fixedly held at the lock cylinder and has a blocking section, which contacts an abutment section of the holder in a blocking position, and a coupling section. The coupling section is accessible for a coupling actuation through the keyway and is rotationally fixedly couplable to the cylinder core by the coupling actuation. The blocking section is hereby then displaceable from the blocking position into a release position, in which the lock cylinder is released for a removal from the holder, by turning the cylinder core by means of an associated key.
