Door holder
A door holder, includes a retainer housing (230), which can be connected either to a door or a door frame, and a door retainer rod, which penetrates the retainer housing (230) and which can be articulated to the other of the door and the door frame The door retainer rod has at least one braking surface, and at least one braking element (50) that can be displaced toward the at least one braking surface is arranged on the retainer housing (230), which the braking element can be brought in contact with the at least one braking surface of the door retainer rod at least in some sections and thus produces a primary braking force component against the displacement of the door retainer rod, wherein the door retainer rod has at least one guiding surface, which is inclined with respect to the braking surface. A door holder that provides high holding forces at least in some sections is created in that at least one guiding element (235a, 235b) is arranged on the retainer housing (230), which the guiding element can be brought in contact with the at least one guiding surface at least in some regions and produces a secondary braking force component against the displacement of the door retainer rod.
DOOR STOP AND METHOD OF USING SAME
A door stop comprises an elongate threaded member having a flat head section, such as a flat head bolt or elevator bolt, and a mounting panel carried on the threaded member. A cushioning member made of felt or other soft non-abrasive material can be positioned on the head section. A locking nut can be threaded on the threaded member, with the mounting panel between the locking nut and the head section. An alternative door stop comprises a spring-loaded member, and an elongate rod telescopically positioned within the spring-loaded member and adapted for sliding movement therein. A mounting panel can be formed on the spring-loaded member. A head section can be positioned on one end of the rod, and a cushioning member, made of felt or other soft, non-abrasive material can be attached to the outer surface of the head section.
Portable door securement device
A portable door securement device is provided having a member extending from a first end engaged to a doorknob of a swinging door or endwall of a sliding door. A second end of the securement device is configured to be engaged with a support surface adjacent the door, to prevent opening of the door in a direction toward the engaged member.
Visual lockdown notification and alert device, electronic door stop remote broadcast device, silent broadcast signal-activated electronic door stop, and sound-activated remote release electronic door stop
Electronic door stop devices, an electronic door stop remote broadcast device, and a visual lockdown notification and alert device are disclosed. The electronic door stop devices include a sound-activated remote release electronic door stop that automatically detects a particular sound and releases a propped open door and a silent broadcast signal-activated electronic door stop that provides automatic closing of propped open doors, by both silent broadcast signal and particular sound detection. The electronic door stop remote broadcast device broadcasts a wireless data signal to multiple silent broadcast signal-activated electronic door stops to automatically and concurrently release any doors propped open by the silent broadcast signal-activated electronic door stops. The visual lockdown notification and alert device flashes an LED visual alert in silent mode or sound-activated.

Door stopping system
A door stopping system comprises a mounting member, a supporting member, a leg member, a spring member, a sleeve member, a first pin member and a second pin member. The mounting member is pivotally connected with the supporting member via the first pin member, the leg member is pivotally connected with the supporting member via the second pin member, the mounting member and the leg member are oppositely located to each other along the supporting member, the spring member is biased in between the supporting member and the leg member, and the sleeve member is slidably sleeved on the supporting member. The mounting member is configured to be removably attached to a door. The leg member is configured to contact a ground.
Portable door securement device
A portable door securement device is provided having a member extending from a first end engaged to a doorknob of a door to a second end engaged with a floor adjacent the door, to prevent opening of the door in a direction toward the engaged member. A slot at a first end of the member engages around a stem of the door handle thereby preventing disengagement of the member from the door, and preventing opening of the door.
