ADJUSTABLE GATE LATCH ASSEMBLY
20230040016 · 2023-02-09 ·

A gate latch assembly includes a first door mountable portion including a first body and carrying a pivotable latch bar that extends outward from a side of the first body, and a first handle part operatively connected to effect pivot of the latch bar when the first handle is rotated, a second door mountable portion including a second body and carrying a pivot bar, and a second handle part operatively connected to effect pivot of the pivot bar when the second handle is rotated. The gate latch assembly can be assembled in either a first configuration to permit rotation of the pivot bar away from its neutral position in only a first direction, or a second configuration to permit rotation of the pivot bar away from its neutral position in only a second direction that is opposite the first direction.

CLOSURE

In an exemplary embodiment, a locking holder with a mounting element in which the locking holder can be fastened to a door frame in a mounting plane, and with a holding surface which is arranged spaced apart with respect to the mounting plane and can be engaged behind by a door-side locking latch in order to lock the door, the holder includes a holding shoe which can be fastened releasably to a holding element in order to set the distance of the holding surface with respect to the mounting plane.

Securable Pet Door
20230099432 · 2023-03-30 ·

The present disclosure provides for a securable pet door. The securable pet door may comprise at least one door, at least one knob, one or more windows, at least one frame, and/or at least one hinge. The knob may comprise a latch for secure closing. When the pet door comprises at least one hinge, the hinge(s) may be inserted into at least one hinge recess so that the door may be securely locked via at least one locking mechanism. The orientation of the one or more elements of the securable pet door may be predetermined, securable, or customizable. The door may open from, slide into, revolve within, or move in some other non-limiting equivalent way from or relative to the frame. The frame may comprise at least one sensor. When the frame comprises at least one sensor, the sensor(s) may interface with at least one external device, such as a computing device, to actuate the at least one locking mechanism from a remote location.

ROTARY LATCH FOR PORTHOLE DOOR OF AN INCUBATOR

A neonatal incubator system includes an enclosure having a series of side panels that create a chamber that receives an infant. At least one of the side panels includes a porthole having a porthole door that is movable between open and closed positions. A rotary latch is positioned to engage the porthole door to retain the porthole door in the closed position when the latch is in a latched position. The rotary latch is designed such movement of the rotary latch to an unlatched position creates physical separation between the porthole door and a sealing gasket or bumpers located between the porthole door and the side panel. The rotary latch is designed such that a control knob can be moved to a cleaning position in which the control knob is spaced from the side panel to expose a liquid gutter that is formed as part of a stationary base.

A latch is provided for latching the doors of cubicles or stalls provided in public washrooms. The latch includes a body mounted within a cavity formed between the inner and outer door surfaces, the body rotatably mounting a spindle having a latching member mounted at one end. Biasing means in the form of one or more cam followers acting on a corresponding number of cam surfaces is provided between the body and the spindle to hold the spindle in a closed position but, once displaced from the closed position, to bias the spindle toward a fully open position.

Tilt window latch and method

A latch and method for a double sash tilt window includes a locking mechanism and a rack having proximal and distal ends. The proximal end of the rack is connected to the locking mechanism while the distal end of the rack is affixed to a slide bolt. The latch also includes a cam and a gear, the cam positioned on the gear and the gear enmeshed with the rack so that rotating the gear operates the slide bolt which prevents the window from tilting.

Assembly latch release

An assembly can include a chassis that includes a chamber and an opening; a cover movable for access to the chamber via the opening; a cover latch; and a cover latch release that includes a push panel operatively coupled via a linkage to a pull panel that includes a finger grip surface, where the linkage rotates the pull panel responsive to rotation of the push panel to expose the finger grip surface, and where further rotation of the pull panel releases the cover latch.

Locking bracket assembly for irrigation timer control box
11332965 · 2022-05-17 ·

A locking bracket assembly prevents unauthorized opening of an irrigation timer box of the type having a cam lock mounted to a hinged cover. The locking bracket assembly includes a lower mounting bracket, locking hardware for attaching the lower mounting bracket to an outer surface of the timer box, and a vertical extension bracket for vertically adjustable attachment to the lower mounting bracket. An upper length of the vertical extension bracket extends at an acute angle from a lower length that is configured for parallel alignment with both the lower mounting bracket and a sidewall of the timer box. When the cover of the timer box is closed, the acute angle allows the upper length of the vertical extension bracket to pass into the timer box and emerge through a slot cut in the cover, and the cam lock can then be rotated to engage a slot formed in part of the upper length of the vertical extension bracket that remains within the timer box. An arresting tab and guide slot prevent misalignment of the brackets and allow height adjustment of the assembly to accommodate various timer box sizes.
