Vehicle interior component
A vehicle interior component configured to be actuated by an inertia force is disclosed. The component may comprise a cover moveable relative to a base between closed and open positions and a latch mechanism to provide a latched state for the cover when actuated by the inertia force and to hold the cover in an unlatched state. The latch mechanism may be configured to change state of the cover from the unlatched state to the latched state when actuated by the inertia force. The cover may comprise the latch mechanism. The latch mechanism may extend from the cover in the latched state. The latch mechanism may form a generally continuous surface with a wall of the cover when unlatched. The latch mechanism may comprise a spring to hold the cover in the unlatched state. The component may comprise at least one of a console; center console; floor console; an armrest.

LOCKING SYSTEM FOR A CONTAINER
A cabinet includes a locking system having a cabinet body including a bottom wall, a top wall, a first side wall, a second, opposing side wall, and a third side wall connected to the bottom wall, the top wall, and between the first side wall and the second side wall. At least one door is pivotally mounted to the cabinet body. The at least one door, bottom wall, top wall, first side wall, second side wall, and third side wall define a storage volume. A lock mechanism including a latch and release element is pivotally mounted inside the storage volume. The latch and release element is accessible only in the storage volume. A lock opening extends through the cabinet body at the lock mechanism. A lock element is insertable through the lock opening. The lock element includes a latch receiver that is selectively engageable by the latch and release element.

Lock mechanism for a flap
A lock mechanism within a slot of a computer chassis is disclosed. The lock mechanism includes a gear wheel, a gear rack body, a push rod latch, a push rod body, and a chassis latch. The gear wheel, the gear rack body, the push rod latch, the push rod body, and the chassis latch cooperate to restrict a flap in the slot from opening when the flap is in the closed position, and the chassis latch is engaged with a cutout on the push rod body.
WASHING MACHINE APPLIANCE WITH A DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY
A vertical axis washing machine appliance includes a door pivotably mounted to a cabinet. The door includes a frame, an axle and a lever arm. The axle is fixed to the frame, and the lever arm is fixed to the axle. A door lock assembly is operable to lock the door in a closed position. The door lock assembly includes a latch and an actuator that is operable to move the latch between an engaged position and a disengaged position. The latch is engaged with the lever arm of the door when the latch is in the engaged position.

Latch mechanism
A latch mechanism for releasably securing a hinged gate to one or more latches. The latch mechanism includes a handle that is pivotally connected to a gate wall. The handle includes at least one retention arm that lockingly engages a latch when the hinged gate is in a latched position. According to certain embodiments, the handle includes a retention arm at both ends of the handle, with the handle extending generally along the length of the gate wall. Further, the handle may be pivotally displaced about the retention arm(s) so that the handle is displaced from the first position to a second position. As the handle is pivotally displaced to the second position, a release mechanism of the handle may engage and pivotally displace the adjacent latch so that the retention arm may be released from the locking engagement with the latch.
Self-adjusting lock system
The present invention is a lock system that can be used in the entire sector of white appliances and characterized by comprising a lock bolt (4) that fits into its seat through the stretching of the lock bolt housing (6) by means of the spring (3) located on the body (1) and a mechanism that allows the machine hatch to be closed by restoring the lock bolt housing (2) back to its former position even if the lock bolt housing (2) is in closed position.
