STORAGE BOX LATCH SYSTEM AND SECURITY FEATURES
A latch assembly for use in a storage container is provided, and comprises a bracket having a body, a first side, and a second side, the bracket being releasably secured to the first or the second body component of the storage container. The first side includes a protruding segment. The body includes at least one slot positioned thereon, the bracket being secured to the storage container via a fastener inserted through the at least one slot. The latch assembly also includes a handle secured to the bracket. When the handle is moved in a first direction, the bracket moves from a latched position to an unlatched position where the protruding segment passes through a lock box assembly, and when the handle is moved in a second direction, the bracket moves from an unlatched position to a latched position where the lock box assembly blocks movement of the protruding segment. The latch assembly is used in conjunction with a lock system.
CASEMENT WINDOW LOCKING BAR SENSOR
A casement window locking assembly comprises a locking handle, a housing, a locking bar, and a coupling member to transfer movement of the locking handle to the locking bar. The locking handle is movable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The assembly comprises first and second sensors, the first sensor comprising a first handle component secured to the coupling member and a second handle component mounted within the housing in order to detect the locking handle being in a locked position, the second sensor comprising a first window component mounted in the housing and a second window component being arranged to be mounted on the window sash in order to detect the window sash being located in a closed position. Rotational movement of the handle causes translational movement of the coupling member. Also, methods of providing a window status sensor system.
LOCKING HANDLE MECHANISM
A locking handle mechanism for windows is provided, the mechanism comprising a main body, a handle, a slider and snap fits. The slider comprises a slot housing part of the handle and side slits housing part of a locking mechanism of the window. The fork is displaced to lock and unlock the window by the rotation of the handle from a first position to a second position. Having two side slits allows for the installation of the mechanism on either side of a window frame. The main body may be installed to a window frame by piercing an appropriate hole and by securing with snap fits to the inside surface of the frame. Methods for installing and uninstalling a locking handle mechanism in a casement are further provided.
Multi-pocket lock set
A multi-point locking set, comprising an engagement member attached to a first end of an actuator plate and configured to move the actuator plate in a vertical direction, a locking member attached to a second end of the actuator plate and attached to a first moving plate and a second moving plate, wherein the locking member pivots between a retracted position and an extended position when the actuator plate moves in the vertical direction, and wherein the first moving plate and the second moving plate move in a vertical direction when the locking member pivots between the retracted position and the extended position.
Low profile lock for windows
A lock for a window which includes a body including a channel defined in an interior of the body, an actuator element configured to be received in the channel and slidable therein, the actuator element including a fork portion to operably couple with a tie bar assembly for locking the window, a handle pivotally coupled to the actuator element, and a linkage pivotally coupled between the body and an intermediate point on the handle. The handle is movable between a closed position and an open position, with movement of the handle causing the actuator element to slide within the channel in a direction opposite the direction of movement of the handle.
High security lock for door
A high security locking system can be used in a conventional pivot door adapted for use with a latch and deadbolt lock combination. The high security system can be a multi-point lock, received in a recess formed in a locking edge side of a door stile, cooperating with a linkage or other mechanism in a conventional deadbolt/location. The lock can be actuated with a keyed cylinder and thumb turn combination.
INSTALLATION STRUCTURE OF AUXILIARY LOCKING DEVICE FOR HINGED DOOR
The present invention relates to an installation structure of an auxiliary locking device for a hinged door, and by operating a rotation lever installed on a door frame separately from a generally used security main locking device, the rotating opening side of the hinged door is vertically attached to the door frame in close contact with the door frame at a number of points in the longitudinal direction, and in order to make it easier to fix and maintain such a tight state. More particularly, the present invention is directed to providing new installation structure of the auxiliary locking device of the hinged door capable of preventing the mutual interference of the driving plate and locking piston, even if the longitudinal installation range of the driving plate is overlapped with the operating range of the locking piston constituting the second locking tool.
HINGE LOCK
A hinge lock for locking a door leaf with respect to a door frame and for pivoting the door leaf with respect to the door frame. The hinge lock has a first hinge element for arranging on the door leaf and a second hinge element for arranging on the door frame. The first hinge element and the second hinge element can be locked with respect to one another by means of a bolt which can be moved back and forth in a locking direction between an unlocking position and a locking position and the locking position by means of a drive rod which can be moved transversely to the locking direction. The disclosure further relates to a door having a hinge lock.
Multipoint lock
A multipoint lock for securing a door panel is described. The multipoint lock includes a first latch, a second latch, a first hub rotatable with at least one of a thumb-turn knob or a key, and a second hub rotatable with a handle lever. Upward rotation of the handle lever causes both rotation of the first hub and rotation of the second hub in the same rotational direction.
FITTING ARRANGEMENT FOR A SLIDING WINDOW OR A SLIDING DOOR
A fitting arrangement for a sliding window or a sliding door has an actuating mechanism that can be arranged on a sliding sash and that is movable at least with a portion in the rebate circumferential direction, and a first control element that is arranged on the portion of the actuating mechanism, and a second control element that is arranged on a transverse slide. The transverse slide has a locking element, and the control elements interact and are tailored to one another in such a way that, upon a movement of the portion in the locking direction, the locking element is moved away from the sliding sash perpendicularly to a main plane of the sliding window or of the sliding door.
