Vehicle door support device
A vehicle door support device includes a support member and a support member that hold a door at an open position. Each of these support members includes: a cylindrical accommodating portion; a cylindrical cover connected to the accommodating portion; a cylindrical movable member movable relative to the cover in an axial direction; a gear mechanism arranged in the accommodating portion; a spindle connected to a first connecting portion of the gear mechanism; a rotation mechanism that rotates the spindle by movement of the movable member relative to the cover; and a coil spring that biases the movable member so as to advance with respect to the cover. At least the support member includes a magnetoresistive mechanism that is arranged in the accommodating portion, is connected to the second connecting portion of the gear mechanism, and applies a load to the spindle via the gear mechanism.

A system for exerting torque on a shaft includes: a spring assembly having; a spring; a companion member to the spring, wherein at least one of the spring and the companion member is in compression and the other of the spring and companion member is in tension; connecting structure for transmitting a force associated with the spring outside of the gear assembly; and a gear train for connecting the connecting structure to the shaft to apply torque to the shaft. A method of exerting torque on a shaft includes: arranging a plurality of spring assemblies arranged in an array around the shaft, each spring assembly having; a spring; connecting structure for transmitting a force associated with the spring; attaching a gear train to the connecting structure; and configuring the gear train to apply the force associated with the spring to the shaft in the form of torque on the shaft.
Opening/closing device
Provided is an opening/closing device that includes a structure for inhibiting a brake engage part or a lock engage part from touching an object or the like and that prevent the perimeter of a guide rail from becoming thick due to the structure. In an opening/closing device in which a brake engage part is caused to engage with a first engaged part by a close prevention device to put a brake on the closing operation of an opening/closing body, a space adjacent to the horizontal width direction end face of the opening/closing body and continuous in the opening/closing body opening/closing direction is ensured, the space is encompassed in the opening/closing body opening/closing direction by the horizontal width direction end face of the opening/closing body, the guide rail, and the support member, and a detach spot for the first engaged part and the brake engage part is arranged within the space.
Safety brake for vertical lifting doors
A vertical door system includes a safety brake that is engaged when the vertical door system fails. The safety brake includes a panel with a slanted channel and a pin slidably disposed in the slanted channel. The panel may be coupled to a counterweight that keeps the pin from engaging with stops in a track when the safety brake is disengaged. When the panel is uncoupled from the counterweight, the safety brake engages and the pin may slide in the channel to allow contact between a portion of the pin and one of the stops in the track to inhibit movement of a door.

A vehicle door support device includes a support member and a support member that hold a door at an open position. At least the support member includes a magnetoresistive mechanism that is arranged in the accommodating portion, is connected to the second connecting portion of the gear mechanism, and applies a load to the spindle via the gear mechanism.
Weight compensation device of a lifting door with at least one compression spring
The invention relates to a weight compensation device for a drive of a lifting door, for the position-dependent compensation of the weight force of a door leaf of the lifting door, with a force transmission unit which can be coupled to the drive in order to carry out an opening movement which raises the door leaf and a closing movement which lowers the door leaf, wherein at least one compression spring is provided which is arranged in such a way that it supports the opening movement. The invention also relates to a lifting door, in particular an industrial lifting door, which has a door leaf, with a drive, such as a motor, and with a weight compensation device according to the invention.

In example implementations, a braking system for a vertical stacking panel door is provided. The braking system includes a first rod, a strap coupled to the first rod, a second rod movably coupled to the first rod, wherein the second rod is to engage a linear ratchet when moved from a disengaged position to an engaged position, and a torsion spring coupled to the first rod and the second rod, wherein tension from the strap moves the second rod into the disengaged portion and the torsion spring moves the second rod into the engaged position when tension is lost on the strap.
