Disclosed herein is a continuous hinge. The continuous hinge comprises a first hinge portion comprising a first plurality of knuckles; and a second hinge portion opposing the first hinge portion and comprising a second plurality of knuckles. The second plurality of knuckles is interdigitated with the first plurality of knuckles and pivotally coupled to the first plurality of knuckles. Each knuckle is a separate piece.

Hinged waterbox cover
A bolted hinge assembly is provided for a waterbox cover (a “waterbox hinge assembly”). The waterbox hinge assembly generally does not require welding on the waterbox cover or the heat exchanger in an HVAC system (“HVAC unit” hereinafter). Further, the waterbox hinge assembly may be installable to the HVAC unit without removing the heat exchange fluids (e.g., water, refrigerant, etc.) from the HVAC unit. In some cases, the waterbox hinge assembly can be installed on an HVAC unit without removing any bolts from the waterbox cover. Once installed, the waterbox hinge assembly can be left in place so that it can be reused anytime the HVAC unit is serviced.
A HYDRAULICALLY DAMPED HINGE FOR HINGING A CLOSURE MEMBER TO A SUPPORT
A hinge comprising: a first hinge member (110) comprising a cylinder barrel (117) having a longitudinal direction (118); a second hinge member (111) pivotably mounted on the first hinge member (110); and a dashpot interposed between said hinge members (110, 111) and configured for damping a closing movement of said closure member. The dashpot comprises a closed cylinder cavity formed within the cylinder barrel (117); a damper shaft (124) which extends into the cylinder cavity and is connected to the second hinge member (111); and a piston (147) within said cylinder cavity. The hinge members (110, 111) are made of a synthetic material and the damper shaft (124) is made of metal.
Automotive lift-off hinge with integrated door check
An automotive lift-off hinge joint to rotationally connect an automotive door and body comprises first and second door side hinge brackets and a body side hinge bracket. A detent shaft is provided with an interiorly threaded intermediate portion adapted to receive a removable threaded fastener and with a shaped detent shaft feature adapted to engage a similarly shaped pyramidal portion of a guide pin fastened to the body side hinge bracket. The detent shaft is rotationally mounted within a cylindrical check mechanism and secured in relation to the first and second door side hinge brackets. Bushings in door side hinge bracket apertures allow rotation of portions of the detent shaft extending through the apertures. The pyramidal shaped portions are preferably square.
HINGE
A hinge is provided, which comprises: at least one hinge pin defining a hinge axis in a first dimension; a hinge leaf; a housing comprising at least one recess for receiving a portion of the hinge leaf; and at least one user adjustable fastener arranged to enable user adjustment of the positioning of the hinge leaf within the at least one recess in a second dimension, wherein the second dimension is orthogonal to the first dimension.

An assembly including a furniture hinge having a first fitting portion configured to be fixed to a first furniture part, a second fitting portion configured to be fixed to a second furniture part, and a hinge axis hingedly connecting the first fitting portion and the second fitting portion to one another, and at least one cover configured to at least partially cover a gap formed between the first fitting portion and the second fitting portion. A fastening device for fixing the cover to the furniture hinge is provided, and the fastening device includes an arresting device for fixing the fastening device on different positions of the cover in a longitudinal direction of the cover.
NON-PLANAR CLOSED-LOOP HINGE MECHANISM WITH ROLLING-CONTACT HINGE
A hinged mechanism includes: panels; and hinges connecting respective pairs of the panels to each other in a closed loop so that the hinged mechanism is non-planar, wherein at least one of the hinges is a rolling-contact hinge. All of the hinges can be rolling-contact hinges. The closed-loop hinged mechanism can comprise at least four hinges, each of the at least four hinges being a sole connection between a respective adjacent pair of the panels. A cross section of rolling surfaces of the rolling-contact hinge can be circular. A cross section of rolling surfaces of the rolling-contact hinge can be non-circular.
An Enclosure Assembly With Concealed Hinge System
An enclosure assembly with concealed hinge system comprises a quadrilateral cabinet and a cover that is configured to swivel along a sidewall of the quadrilateral cabinet. The swiveling action of the cover with respect to the quadrilateral cabinet is enabled by the use of a first pair of hinges and at least one second hinge. The first pair of hinges is welded onto the corners of the sidewall, and the at least one second hinge is welded onto the sidewall between the first pair of hinges.
