Multifunctional window
A sash (62) of a window opening up to 180° and capable of tilting is mounted onto a fixedly installed frame profile (63) and houses a pair of superimposing sashes that fit tightly therein when in closure position, i.e. an upper stationary sash (65) and a lower movable-divertible sash (64), each of the sashes (64,65) provided with laterally extending shafts (49) for connection with sash (62), roller wheels (50) provided onto the shafts (49) of sash (64) that roll within a predefined path created by insert guide profile members (19) and diverter guide members (66,68) to alternately bring sash (64) in a position of superimposing sash (65) and a position of alignment with the same. Lifting mechanisms (46) provided with a regulatory screw (84) for adjusting the pretension of a spring component thereof and thereby the force required by the user for moving the sash (64) are installed within the vertically extending sides of the sash (62).
MERCHANDISE DISPLAY SYSTEM
A modular merchandise display system is provided. The system comprises an enclosure, a first upper bracket and a first lower bracket forming a first pocket on a first side of the enclosure, and a second upper bracket and a second lower bracket forming a second pocket on a second side of the enclosure. A first security door is slidably and pivotally connected to the first upper and lower brackets. A second security door slidably and pivotally connected to the second upper and lower brackets. The security doors can be positioned exterior of the enclosure and then pivoted about the upper and lower brackets to be positioned substantially parallel to the front of the enclosure in a closed position. The security doors can then be secured to one another in the closed position.
STORM SHUTTER SYSTEMS
An exemplary method involves operating a storm shutter system installed to a building adjacent an opening. The storm shutter system includes a panel, a motor operable to drive the panel between a first position and a second position, and a control assembly operable to control the motor. The method includes receiving, by the control assembly, information from an external device. The method further includes operating the motor to linearly drive the panel from the first position to the second position in response to receiving the information.
POWER TRANSFER SYSTEMS FOR MOVABLE PRIVACY GLAZING STRUCTURES
A power transfer assembly includes a window balance assembly, a pivot bar, and an electrically conductive pathway. The window balance assembly includes a first portion configured to be fixed in place and a second portion configured to be movable relative to the first portion. The pivot bar is conductively coupled to the second portion of the window balance assembly. And, the electrically conductive pathway extends between the window balance assembly and the pivot bar.
Hold lock mechanism for vehicle door and vehicle door opening and closing apparatus having the same
A hold lock mechanism for a vehicle door, the hold lock mechanism including a grip assembly configured to be mounted on a vehicle body, the grip assembly including a pair of grip members configured to releasably grip a door component and a hook provided on at least one of grip members, and a release assembly mounted on the door component, the release assembly including a release member configured to releasably engage with the hook.
Shutter for furniture
The invention relates to a shutter for furniture, cabinets, shelf units and the like, having at least two shutter parts which are arranged next to one another, which shutter parts can be pivoted on the furniture carcass about an axis of rotation, can be transferred by means of an inner guide from a common plane into two mutually parallel planes and can then be slid over one another, wherein the first shutter part, which is furthest away from the axis of rotation, interacts with the second shutter part, which is closer to the axis of rotation, by way of at least two guide means arranged on inner sides thereof, and wherein an outward thrusting mechanism interacts with the first shutter part, wherein the outward thrusting mechanism can be moved from an inoperative position into an operative position.
Vehicle door opening and closing apparatus
A vehicle door opening and closing apparatus includes a vehicle door, a rail mounted on a vehicle body having a door aperture, a roller unit mounted on the vehicle door and configured to move along the rail and to allow the vehicle door to open and close in a sliding mode and in a swing mode, a sliding guide extending from a rear edge of the door aperture and extending straightly in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle body, a swing guide bent from the sliding guide toward an interior of the vehicle body, a center roller unit mounted on the vehicle door and guided along the sliding guide and the swing guide, and a variable stopper mechanism covering an exterior-side opening of the swing guide in the sliding mode and uncovering the exterior-side opening of the swing guide in the swing mode.
Passage gate for emergency opening and a checkout counter
A passage gate for allowing or preventing people to enter or to exit a passage area comprising a base portion (110) and a panel portion (120) is provided. The passage gate (100) is configured to be driven in a first operation mode and a second operation mode. When the passage gate (100) is driven in the first operation mode the panel portion (120) is slidable relative the base portion (110) between a first open position, allowing people to pass, and a closed position preventing people from passing through the passage gate (100). When the passage gate (100) is driven in the second operation mode the base portion (110) is rotatable between the closed position and a second open position for achieving a larger passage area.
Sliding/swing complex door for vehicle
A sliding/swing complex door for a vehicle includes a sliding door configured to be opened upon a first operation of an outside handle positioned on an outside of the sliding door, a swing door configured to be integrated and opened with the sliding door upon a second operation of the outside handle, and a fixing unit configured to be opened in such a way to be integrated and rotated with the swing door in a state in which the sliding door is fully opened.
HEMP shielded sliding door system and method
A sliding door system and method is used in an enclosure that defines an inner area shielded against a High-Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (“HEMP”). The HEMP shielded sliding door system includes an RF shielding door frame, an RF shielding door leaf mounted within an mechanical door leaf frame, a mechanical insertion and retraction assembly attached to both the mechanical door leaf frame and RF shielding door leaf and that operates to extend and retract the RF shielding door leaf into and out of the RF shielding door frame, a drive tube assembly operable to interact with and open and close mechanical door leaf frame (along with RF shielding door leaf) in a sliding motion, and a control assembly, including motor and an air regulator assembly. HEMP shielding air seals are activated when the RF shielding door leaf is inserted into the RF shielding door frame.
