An automotive lift-off hinge joint to rotationally connect an automotive door and body comprises first and second door side hinge brackets and a body side hinge bracket. A detent shaft is provided with an interiorly threaded intermediate portion adapted to receive a removable threaded fastener and with a shaped detent shaft feature adapted to engage a similarly shaped pyramidal portion of a guide pin fastened to the body side hinge bracket. The detent shaft is rotationally mounted within a cylindrical check mechanism and secured in relation to the first and second door side hinge brackets. Bushings in door side hinge bracket apertures allow rotation of portions of the detent shaft extending through the apertures. The pyramidal shaped portions are preferably square.

SLIDER FOR WINDOW REGULATOR WITH ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM

An adjustable slider of a window regulator includes a base body configured to connect with a cable of the window regulator and a clamp-plate assembly having first and second jaws configured to clamp a windowpane therebetween. A hinge plate supports the clamp-plate assembly. A first adjustment mechanism pivotally connects the hinge plate to the base body such that the clamp-plate assembly and the hinge plate are pivotal relative to the base body allowing a vertical angle of the clamp-plate assembly to be changed. The first adjustment mechanism is actuatable to move the hinge plate relative to the base body in a fore-and-aft direction allowing a fore-and-aft position of the clamp-plate assembly to be adjusted.

A gate hinge for a preferably wooden post which includes an L-shaped rod threaded on one leg with a metal strap rigidly connected to the threaded leg at about one and one half inches from the elbow of the rod on the threaded leg. The metal strap extends six or so inches form each side of the L-shaped rod with two or more holes near each end of the strap. The L-shaped rod is threaded into the post until the metal strap contacts the post. Then each leg of the metal bracket is bent around the post and screws or lag bolts are threaded through the holes and into the post to help secure the hinge to the post and to provide added support for the gate.

An automobile hinge includes a first hinge half attachable to one of a door and a door pillar, with a first hinge bore, a second hinge half attachable to the other of the door and the door pillar, with a second hinge bore, and a hinge pin having an axis of rotation. The hinge pin comprises a first pin portion which can be fixed in a rotationally fixed manner in the first hinge bore of the first hinge half. The hinge pin comprises a second pin portion which is pivotally received in the second hinge bore of the second hinge half. The second pin portion comprises an external thread at least in sections. The second hinge bore of the second hinge half comprises an internal thread at least in sections. The second pin portion can be screwed into the second hinge bore of the second hinge half. An automobile hinge in which the pivotable connection of hinge pin and hinge half is possible without a bearing bush is realized in that the internal thread and the external thread form a direct pivotal connection of the hinge pin and the second hinge half.

Manufacturing method of vehicle door hinge and vehicle

A vehicle door hinge that has a desorption function while enabling weight reduction and increasing production efficiency. The vehicle door hinge comprises a base member (2U) fixed to the door-side of the vehicle, a base member (3U) fixed to the vehicle body side; a hinge shaft (4U) rotatably connects the base members (2U, 3U) to each other; a screwed body (5U) that is detachably screwed in the axial direction to the hinge shaft (4U) so that the base member (3U) and the hinge shaft (4U) rotate integrally; bushes (6U, 7U) fitted into a shaft holes (22U) of the base member (2U) so that the base member (2U) and the hinge shaft can rotate relative to each other; and a retaining portion (8U) for preventing the hinge shaft (4U) from coming off from the shaft hole (22U) of the base member.
