The cover mount has upper and lower portions and a longitudinal member that couples the lower and upper portions, which are spaced apart along the longitudinal member. The hinge includes a pivoting member that is coupled with the housing mount at a first pivot point and with the cover mount at a second pivot point. Longitudinal axes of the first pivot point and the second pivot point are offset and parallel to one another.

A rapidly disassembled hinge suitable for use in an aircraft includes a first attachment plate attached to a supported structure, a second attachment plate attached to a supporting structure, and a pin with a notch in an outer surface thereof, which is insertable into portions of the first and second attachment plates for pivotably connecting the first and second attachment plates together. The pin is inserted so that the notch is positioned within the second attachment structure when the hinge is in an assembled state. A key includes a main body and a distal end extending from the main body, the distal end being insertable within the notch of the pin. The key is movable such that the distal end of the key can be inserted into and removed from engagement with the notch of the pin to provide for toolless disassembly of the hinge.

A hinge pin remover for removing a hinge pin from a door hinge assembly. A geared wheel is rotatably connected to a hinge pin remover body. The geared wheel includes a plurality of geared wheel teeth. A handle is rigidly connected to the geared wheel. A geared shaft extends through the remover body. An appliance includes a door with a plurality of panels spaced apart by a vertical support. A lower hinge mount is coupled with an appliance body. A first pivot member is coupled with the lower hinge mount and includes a first protrusion. A lower hinge support is fixedly coupled with the vertical support and includes an elongate coupling plate and a hinge arm that extends orthogonal relative to a longitudinal extent of the elongate coupling plate. A stop extends from the hinge arm. A second pivot member has a receiving space that receives the stop. A flip hinge for a motor vehicle includes an inner strap affixed to a body of the motor vehicle, an outer strap separate from the inner strap and affixed to a removable panel of the motor vehicle, and an intermediate link extending from the inner strap to the outer strap. The intermediate link is rotatably attached to the inner strap at a first link end by a spring-loaded pivot. The intermediate link is rotatably attached to the outer strap at a second link end by an outer strap pivot. The intermediate link is movable between at least a first position and a second position. The spring-loaded pivot biases the intermediate link towards the second position whenever the intermediate link is not in the first position, and the outer strap is separable from the intermediate link only when the intermediate link is in the first position.

An anti-ligature hinge for a door and associated methods and systems are provided. The anti-ligature hinge has a hinge bracket operatively associable with a support and a hinge member operatively associable with a leaf. The hinge member is connectable to the hinge bracket and rotatable relative to the hinge bracket about an axis of rotation. The hinge member can disconnect from the hinge bracket in response to a threshold force acting along or transverse to the axis or rotation. This hinge is for eliminating ligature points in doors where vulnerable individuals are to be left unsupervised.

A releasable hinge system having a first component having a circular hinge pin and an arcuate guide fixed thereto. The system further includes a second component having a u-shaped member having an annular groove concentric with and matingly received by the hinge pin. The second component also has an arcuate channel received by the arcuate guide. The method of assembling a hinge includes the steps of providing a first component having a hinge pin and an arcuate guide. The method further includes the step of providing a second component having a u-shaped member having an annular groove concentric with the hinge pin. The second component having an arcuate channel. The method also includes the steps of orienting the first and second components at an angle of 60° relative to each other, causing the u-shaped member to receive the hinge pin, and enabling the second component to rotate within the annular groove about the hinge pin.

An operable panel for an appliance includes a top panel that defines a hinge receptacle. A lid includes a hinge housing. A hinge is disposed within the hinge housing and extends between the lid and the top panel. A retainer includes a cap and a resilient portion. The retainer partially surrounds the hinge and the cap encloses the hinge housing. The resilient portion of the retainer biases the hinge toward the cap and the hinge receptacle.

A releasable ball lock hinge is disclosed. The releasable ball lock hinge includes a first body operable with a hinge ball and a release ball. Each ball can be movable within respective openings of the first body. The releasable ball lock hinge also includes a second body configured to rotatably interface and removably couple with the first body. The hinge ball releasably engages the second body. The second body has a release recess operable with the release ball to disengage the hinge ball and alternately couple and release the first body and the second body based on a relative position between the first body and the second body.

The tub knuckle has a base, a first pin holder extending from the base and a second pin holder extending from the base and spaced from the first pin holder. The lid leaf has a mounting plate and a pin holder. The hinge pin assembly is movable between a closed position and an open position, and includes a hinge pin and a retainer assembly that can be used to lock the hinge pin assembly in the closed and open positions.
