The slot includes a straight section and an angled section. The arm also includes a hole that is offset from the centerline of the straight section and disposed between the angled section and an end of the arm. A pin shaft is disposed in the hole and held in place by a cover member and a movable member, enabling the arm to rotate about the pin shaft. A rivet pin is disposed in the slot and fixedly connected to a fixed member. When the movable member moves, the arm moves such that the hung sash is unlocked from the fixed frame of the covering, and the angled section engages the rivet pin, causing the arm to rotate to open the covering.
